March 7-13, 2016 - Wilton Restaurant Week - Wilton, Connecticut
Restaurants located in and around Wilton are serving up special prix fixe menus and other culinary selections. It’s a great opportunity to experience some new restaurants, as well as re-visit favorites. Celebrate their fabulous dining scene, which includes a variety of cuisine from Southwestern, Italian and Asian to French, Mexican and American!

March 11-20, 2016 - Greater Norwich Area Restaurant Week
Greater Norwich Area, Connecticut
Restaurants throughout the Greater Norwich area will be participating in the inaugural restaurant weeks taking place this Spring on March 11 – 20, 2016 and this Fall on November 11- 20, 2016.

26th Hebron Maple Festival
Hebron, Connecticut
Each year thousands of people come from miles around to enjoy the weekend of maple related events. Self-tours, demonstrations and a variety of maple products at several local sugar houses. Dog sled exhibition, chain saw carvers, crafts, vendors and lots of good food!  Annually the 2nd weekend in March.

The annual event will feature more 20 Branford restaurants serving special menus or multi-course prix fixe menus at for lunch and dinner.

April 3-9, 2016  Stratford Restaurant Week - Stratford, Connecticut
Stratford Restaurant Week is co-sponsored by Stratford’s Chamber of Commerce and the Stratford Economic Development Department.  Over 30 of Stratford’s best restaurants are offering special $16.39 per person or $37.50 per couple Prix Fixe menus for Restaurant Week.

April 24, 2016  4th Annual Lion's Club "90"+ Wine Tasting
Madison, Connecticut
The Madison Wine Exchange will be conducting a Charity Wine Tasting in conjunction with the Madison Lions Club. Admission to this exquisite tasting is only $25 per person. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Madison Lions Club and their selected charities.  We will be tasting through over 50 different wines from all over the world all of which are rated 90 Points or higher. We will be pairing light appetizers from Fromage Fine Foods and Coffees to this amazing selection of wine.  Space is limited to only 100 guests so hurry up and get your tickets today.

Website has Auto-Play Music.  Sanctioned by the International Chili Society. To benefit the Somers (CT) Fire Department and Patriot Guard Riders CT.  The event is but minutes from Hartford and Springfield.

April 30-May 1, 2016 - 3rd Annual Ridgefield Gone Country BBQ Festival
Ridgefield, Connecticut
Downtown Ridgefield will be filled with the sights, sounds & smells of REAL BBQ at the Annual BBQ Festival!  Rides, games, live music & LOTS to eat benefiting local charities.  $10 adults, $5 students, children under 12 FREE. Saturday, 5/2, 11am-9pm; Sunday, 5/3 11am-5pm.  Ridgefield Lounsbury House, 316 Main Street.

May 14, 2016  The Food Revolution - New Canaan
New Canaan, Connecticut
The Jamie Oliver Food Revolution returns to the Pop Up Park in New Canaan, Connecticut for the third year running between 10am – 1pm. Hosted by celebrity Chef Plum, and featuring a performance by Dre Towey, who recently released her children’s album In a Pickle. The 15-catchy and fun songs all reference food, to encourage a healthy and fun conversation between parents and their children.  The Bravery Passport was created to highlight Food Revolution Founder, Jamie Oliver’s wish: “To create a strong sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.”  Register in advance for a Bravery Passport, which lists participating local restaurants and shops. Kids then go on a food trail, sampling tasters and getting a stamp for their passport. This year we will be welcoming back local band 'Mind The Gap' and are asking participants to drop off non perishable foods to benefit The Connecticut Food Bank.  Registration is essential due to limited spaces, so please visit the website.

March 27-28, 2015  Feeding the Future - New London, Connecticut
Connecticut College is hosting a one and a half day conference on Feeding the Future. The conference will begin with a sustainable banquet on Friday evening, March 27, followed by a keynote lecture by Dan Barber, chef for Blue Hill and author of the forthcoming The Third Plate. On Saturday, the conference will run 8:30 to 4:30pm, with three sessions – the first focusing on the present food system, second on learning from the past – possible lessons for fixing our broken food system, and the third is looking toward the future – cutting edge work that is being done towards a more sustainable food system & greater food security.

Lobsters in the rough are served by the Rotary Club of Mystic. Lobster platters are served picnic-style under Mystic Seaport’s open-air Boat Shed where diners can watch boats cruising on the Mystic River and enjoy music of the sea.
