Woodstock Fair
Woodstock, Connecticut
Celebrating agriculture, the fair offers animals, exhibitions, three stages of entertainment, a carnival, and over 100 food vendors. Always held Labor Day Weekend, Friday through Monday.

September 2-November 5, 2023  Corn Maze - Middlefield, Connecticut
Get lost in the Corn Maze this year and revisit the time 90-years-ago, when Col. Charles Lindbergh climbed into his custom-built, single engine, single-seat monoplane on the first solo non-stop transatlantic flight from Long Island to Paris. Challenge yourself in this special anniversary corn maze featuring of the historic Spirit of St. Louis, its famous pilot, and the aviation revolution this flight began.

September 8-10, 2023  45th Annual Norwalk Oyster Festival
Norwalk, Connecticut
Hosted by the Norwalk Seaport Association at the 35-acre Veteran's Memorial Park.  There’s something for all ages during this popular fall event. Entertainment spotlights national acts plus dozens of favorite regional musicians. The fun also includes quality artists and crafters ... a children’s activity area and amusement rides ... a tempting food court ... environmental, recreational and leisure demonstrations and displays ... harbor tours ... and OYSTERS -- to eat ... to shuck ... to learn about!  Attendance: 50,000.

September 8-10, 2023  Taste of Mystic - Mystic, Connecticut

September 9, 2023  Slice of Saugatuck Festival
Saugatuck, Connecticut
10th Annual Food Tasting and Retail Experience.  Over four dozen of Saugatuck's finest restaurants, shops and galleries opening their doors and inviting the community to come and sample their offerings. Walk the streets of Saugatuck Center and taste your way from restaurant to restaurant, to liquor store, to retail merchant and back.

September 9-10, 2023  St Peter’s Annual Apple Festival
Monroe, Connecticut
Apples, crafters and more on the Monroe Green can only mean it’s the annual Apple Festival of St. Peter’s Episcopal church. We have 70 crafters from several states, homemade baked goods, children’s games, a snack bar, caramel apples, fresh apples and apple cider for sale.  Held annually, the weekend after Labor Day.

September 15-16, 2023  15th Annual Irish Festival

Irish music, dancing, culture, food, & drink, & glorious Irish wares for sale.

September 16-17, 2023  Harvest Food & Wine Festival
Stonington, Connecticut
Food, Wine and Live Music!  Welcome to Stonington Vineyards.  We are one of the first Connecticut wineries, located mid-way between New York and Boston. Take in the beauty, stroll in the vineyards, enjoy our wines and share the memories! Tickets: $25.
 


 

September 16-17, 2023  16th Annual Garlic Festival
Mystic, Connecticut
Olde Mistick Village.  Over 50 farmers, vendors, bakers and restaurants will be with us both saturday and sunday for this terrific free family event.  Local produce, preserves, baked goods, prepared food, crafts and concoctions – we’ll have it all for you at our fun filled garlic festival family weekend at Olde Mistick Village!  Live musical entertainment all day both days.

September 21-24, 2023  103rd Annual Durham Agricultural Fair
Durham, Connecticut
Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair. Come visit the Durham Fair and you’ll see what a real fair is all about. Live entertainment, rides and games on the Midway, first-class animal competitions and discovery events on the Corn Stalk Stage. Along with a trove of crafts, exhibits, shopping and fun food. Yum! The Durham Fair is easy to reach yet hard to leave. We know you will have a great time!  The Durham Fair is owned and operated by the Durham Agricultural Fair Association, Inc., and is a private, not-for-profit corporation. The Durham Fair is the largest fair in North America managed entirely by unpaid volunteers.   Attendance: 200,000.

September 29, 2023  51st Brewfest at the Beach
New London, Connecticut
The New London Rotary Foundation presents it's Brewfest at the Beach, 6pm-9pm.  Tickets in advance are $25, day of the event they are $30.  Included in the ticket price is live music and free beer friendly food.  Limited tickets are available for this event in advance and at the door.

September 29-October 8, 2023  Annual Apple Harvest Festival
Southington, Connecticut
Our annual festival is a family oriented community event spanning the first two weekends in October. Over the course of two weekends each autumn, the festival offers a wide variety of live music & entertainment, food, contests, crafts, children's activities, carnival rides and more. Also highlighted each year is our parade, an arts & crafts show and a spectacular evening fireworks display.  Sept 29-Oct 1 and Oct 6-8, 2023.  Attendance: 100,000.

September 12-25, 2022  Taste of Hartford Restaurant Weeks
Hartford, Connecticut
Taste of Hartford is back! Foodies and discount diners delight: the Greater Hartford Arts Council, in partnership with CTNOW, present Taste of Hartford, the city's premier restaurant event - two weeks of fine discount dining. Participating restaurants across Hartford will offer special multi-course, price-fixed tasting menus featuring their signature dishes.

September 15, 2019 - Beer & Oysters on the Sound
New Haven, Connecticut
The New Haven Land Trust's Beer & Oysters on the Sound celebrates its 5th year and will return, from 4 to 7pm, to the historic carousel at Lighthouse Point Park overlooking Long Island Sound.  This family-friendly event brings together the bounty of the land and sea to celebrate the success of another great season, supporting community building through gardening, urban farming, land conservation, and environmental education in the New Haven area.  Join us again this year to savor oysters and sample a growing selection of beer from local breweries, micro-breweries, and home-brewers.  The event also features live music from local artists, food trucks from local vendors, and free carousel rides and games for the whole family!

5th Annual Shoreline Chefs

Tickets to our annual Meals on Wheels fundraiser are on sale now. This event showcases almost 20 restaurants, caterers, and chefs from throughout the shoreline area as they offer small plate tastings. Beer and wine tastings are also available as well as live music and basket raffle.

The Big Crush
Litchfield, Connecticut
The Big Crush will feature wine, food, live music, and a series of FREE wine demonstrations from picking to tasting.  Series of lectures and demonstrations celebrating the annual grape harvest. September is harvest season. We invite you into our field, inside our cellar to get an intimate view of the wine making process.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
