December - Westport New Year's Eve Fireworks Show
Westport, Washington
Show starts at dusk at the Westport marina. Come and celebrate the end of the year by enjoying the fireworks display over the marina.
 

March - Annual Popsicle Bridge Contest - Seattle, Washington
The Younger Member Forum of the American Society of Civil Engineers will put on a competition of bridges built using only Popsicle sticks and white glue. Each year teams of high school students from local schools build bridges that are strong, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. The bridges will be judged and then tested to failure with a hydraulic press. Be sure to be in the room as each bridge snaps and broken Popsicle sticks fly everywhere. At the Museum of Flight.


April/May - Washington State Apple Blossom Festival
Wenatchee, Washington
Born in 1919, it is the oldest Festival in Washington State. Events include the Apple Blossom Run, parades, art and crafts, apple pie eating contest, carnival, apple pie & dessert bake-off and more.  Attendance: 100,000.
 

June - Annual Marysville Strawberry Festival - Marysville, Washington
The Marysville Strawberry Festival is one of the oldest continuing festivals held in the State of Washington. Held in Downtown Marysville in beautiful Snohomish County, the Strawberry Festival has many events for the entire family.
