74th Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival
Families and people of all ages enjoy the camel & ostrich races, the nightly musical pageant and the history of dates as well as the many attractions and interesting exhibits unique to the Fair.

39th Annual Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook Off & Festival
Santa Cruz, California
Join the fun and excitement as talented chefs from throughout Northern California compete for the glory of the Best Clam Chowder! More than just a culinary competition, the fun event has featured participants dressed as scuba divers, mermaids, and even as a Clam Fairy. The Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off is a popular "rain or shine" event. The competition features two divisions: Individual and Professional. Top awards include cash prizes, round-trip tickets courtesy of United Airlines, and more. Plaques will be awarded in each division for Best Clam Chowder in both Boston and Manhattan categories as well as the People's Choice and Most Original Team. Admission is free; visitors may purchase Tasting Kits ($10) to sample five different chowders.
March 27-28, 2020 - ¡Latin Food Fest! - Los Angeles, California
California's largest annual Latin culinary extravaganza includes “Chefs Night Out,” a high energy party and “Gran Tasting Los Angeles,” the festivals signature event featuring food, beverage, wine, beer, and spirits stations, cooking and wine demonstrations, chef awards, VIP Tent, and a four-hour music performance by La Junta Sound System. Among the fifty participating chefs are Mary Sue Milliken, Susan Feniger, Jaime Martin Del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu.
