14th Annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Festival
Enjoy a steaming cup of hot apple cider and delicious Christmas cookies while you take a ride on our Horse-Drawn Carriage and Wagon. Then, take an exciting trip on an Old Fashioned English Double-Decker Bus! Children’s Train Rides on the Christmas Express in the Winter Wonderland room at The Richmond Furniture Gallery. This room also features one of the world’s largest Christmas Murals and a Fantasyland Train Display. The display features several trains that run around an old fashioned Richmond, Indiana landscape. After the trains, your children (and those of you young at heart) can have your picture taken with Santa Claus! Please join us on Tuesday evenings for food, fun and festivities that your entire family will enjoy. Admission and parking is free.

Annual Watermelon Drop
RING IN THE NEW YEAR by celebrating at the Annual Watermelon Drop held in downtown Vincennes! Knox County's own quirky New Year's event features live music in a heated tent. Watch a 500-pound watermelon rise high in the sky as midnight approaches, culminating with 18 Knox County watermelons dropped on the splatform at the stroke of midnight followed by fireworks.
