December 31
Annual Walleye Madness at Midnight
Port Clinton, Ohio
Port Clinton, the "Walleye Capital of the World" celebrates the New Year as a 20-foot, 600 pound fiberglass walleye drops from a crane at the stroke of Midnight. Live entertainment and street vendors.
 

March
Cincinnati International Wine Festival
Cincinnati, Ohio
A grand celebration of wine, food and music with winery dinners, grand tastings, and a charity auction. Proceeds benifiting Greater Cincinnati Charities.
 

May
Moonshine Festival - New Straitsville, Ohio
Located in the rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, events include a working Moonshine Still Display, local history museum, moonshine burgers, moonshine pie, moonshine doggies, carnival rides and games, flea market, talent show, parades, cruise-in and free entertainment.
 

June
Troy Strawberry Festival - Troy, Ohio
The center of Ohio's strawberry production. Featured are the strawberries, of course, and they come in all sorts of taste-tempting treats from shortcake to donuts to strawberry pie. Many arts and crafts booths, athletic competitions, and entertainment. One of the largest and best-attended festivals in the Midwest.  Attendance: 150,000.
