Annual Shoals Catfish Festival - Shoals, Indiana

U.S. Independence Day - Nationwide

Every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

July 7-14, 2023 - Parke County 4-H Fair - Parke County, Indiana
Since 1921, features a celebration for those near and far that showcases all that the county has to offer. Plenty of things to do and see for young and old such as children's activities, entertainment, food and merchandise vendors, livestock, agricultural competitions and much more.

July 22, 2023  Valparaiso Wine Festival - Valparaiso, Indiana
Wine enthusiasts get ready for a summer event you won’t want to miss! The Valparaiso Wine Festival brings over 100 wines from around the world with unlimited sips and samples. Learn about new and exciting varietals from the experts while you enjoy reds, whites and sparkling tastings.  Enjoy a gourmet snack plate with your ticket and additional food options for purchase from Pikk’s Tavern.  Buy bottles & cases at discounted rates to enjoy at home. Live entertainment.

July 28, 2023  Junior Achievement Wine and Beer Festival
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Indiana wineries and breweries come together to provide an awesome tasting event with unlimited samplings. The Junior Achievement Wine and Beer Festival benefit’s Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana to provide our JA programs at little to no cost for local schools. In addition to unlimited samplings, you will receive a souvenir glass included in the price of admission. You can purchase your favorite bottle to enjoy at the event or take home. Food will be available for purchase from Parkview Field.  NEW: Silent Auction! Bid on items from local businesses, restaurants, and the attending wineries and breweries at the festival. July 28-29, 2023  28th Annual Hot Dog Festival - Frankfort, Indiana
Hot Dog Tent, Arts & Crafts, Dachshund Races, Entertainment, Flea Market, Food Booths. Organizers were inspired by the school mascot, the Hot Dog.

July 28-30, 2023  Annual Pierogi Fest - Whiting, Indiana
Pierogis, polka, parades and more. Meet Mr. Pierogi and friends!  Drawing almost 200,000 visitors each year, the Festival is the pride of Whiting. It allows us to celebrate our heritage while poking a little fun at ourselves at the same time. Where else can you see grown women dressed up like our grandmothers (bushas, as we say) in housecoats and babushkas? Or the lawnmower brigade strut through town with sandals and socks on like or dads did? You'll also see life-size polish pastries and goodies walking and talking waiting to take a picture with you. Only at Whiting's Pierogi Fest.   Attendance: 200,000.

July 28-August 20, 2023  Indiana State Fair - Indianapolis, Indiana
Celebrating the Hoosier Spirit, the Fair includes Family Fun Park, Livestock Barns, Entertainment, Machinery Field, Parades, Midway, Culinary Stage, Antique Tractor Show, Brewer's Cup Competition, and Taste of the Wild Cookout, as well as World's Largest Male Hog, Giant Pumpkin, Giant Watermelon, Giant Tomato, Smoothie Blend-off, and Celebrity Milking Contests.  Attendance: 975,000.

St. Joe, Indiana
Parades, fireworks, competitions, kids' activities, dozens of food vendors, live music, pickle recipe contest, pickle factory tours and much more.

New Palestine, Indiana
Teams will compete for $16,000 in prize money at the Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event. There will be Indiana wines and brews, as well as live entertainment all day.
