September 5-8, 2024  Montgomery Turkey Trot Festival
Montgomery, Indiana
The festival recognizes turkey processing in Daviess County, where over a million turkeys are raised each year. Carnival, entertainment, turkey races, tractor pulls, and much more.

September 7, 2024  45th Annual Valparaiso Popcorn Festival
Valparaiso, Indiana
Named the "Best Festival of the Region" by The Times readers, the Valparaiso Popcorn Festival continues to offer family-fun activities for all ages. Over 200 arts & crafts booths, 30 food booths, kids' games, the five-mile Popcorn Panic, and the nation's First Popcorn Parade are only the beginning of the excitement of this incredible festival. Always the Saturday after Labor Day.

September 7-8, 2024 - Bridgeton Milling Days - Bridgeton, Indiana
Visit the historic Bridgeton District! You will find live demonstrations of grinding flour and cornmeal on a 200 year old French buhr stone at the Bridgeton Mill, history tours of the mill, town and bridge and Pioneer craft demonstrations.
 


 

September 13-14, 2024  36th Rising Sun Navy Bean Fall Festival
Rising Sun, Indiana
Held on the downtown riverfront, with rides, crafts, queen pageant, music, and homemade bean soup & cornbread.

September 14-15, 2024  Mansfield Village Cornbread Festival
Mansfield, Indiana
There will be tours of the Mill, vendors in the village, and tasty soup beans and homemade cornbread!  The Mill the will be open both days 9am-5pm.

September 19-22, 2024  48th Annual Nappanee Apple Festival
Nappanee, Indiana
Nappanee becomes a bustling community the third weekend in September as the Nappanee Apple Festival kicks off the 38th annual event! The festival provides bushels of free fun for the entire family and something for every age.  The festival features two stages of free entertainment, craft, commercial and food vendors, carnival rides, scholarship pageant, road run, tractor pull, apple peeling and pie eating contests and so much more! You won't want to miss Indiana’s largest 7' Baked Apple Pie, a 600 lb. apple pie that tempts even the most discriminating palate.  Attendance: 76,000.

September 21, 2024  46th Annual Brookston Apple Popcorn Day
Brookston, Indiana
Celebrate the local popcorn and apple harvest with races, crafts, food, apple bobbing, pancake and sausage breakfast, pizza eating contest, apple dessert contest, pedal tractor pull, and special events.

September 21-22, 2024  48th Annual Johnny Appleseed Festival
Fort Wayne, Indiana
A two-day period festival with an array of food, crafts, antiques and music. Fun for the whole family!  Each year the people of Fort Wayne invite visitors from throughout the nation to celebrate the pioneer spirit of John Chapman, better known as "Johnny Appleseed," Chapman was a colorful character of the Indiana frontier in the early 1800's.  During the latter part of his life, Chapman traveled the countryside on foot, planting orchards in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas. In the process, he became a national folk hero and his gravesite memorial area in Fort Wayne's Archer Park has been designated a National Historic Place and is identified as such on the National Register of Historic Places.

September 21-28, 2024  Annual Persimmon Festival - Mitchell, Indiana
Celebrate the persimmon - not the Japanese hybrid import variety, but the native American tree that grows in the wild in southern Indiana. Pageant, road rally, parade, carnival, car show, fun run, entertainment, food tents and much more!

September 22-25, 2024  National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Annual Meeting - Indianapolis, Indiana
NASDA’s Annual Meeting brings together the commissioners, secretaries and directors of agriculture from across the nation to develop policies addressing food and agricultural issues.

September 25-28, 2024  Versailles Pumpkin Show - Versailles, Indiana
The annual festival will feature a large parade on Saturday, giant pumpkin contest, carnival rides, live entertainment, and contests of all kinds.   Attendance: 15,000.

September 27-29, 2024  55th Annual Cory Apple Festival
Cory, Indiana
Antiques, flea market, parade, Fish Fry, Firehouse Hog Roast, Chicken and Noodle Dinner, carnival, helicopter rides, live music, entertainment and, of course, Apples.

September 28, 2024  Annual Valpo Brewfest - Valparaiso, Indiana
Held in Downtown Valparaiso, you can sample from more than 200 different styles of beers from America’s best craft brewers and vote for your favorite Indiana craft beer as we award the coveted HOOSIER BREW award to the top vote recipient.  Your Valpo Brewfest tickets not only get you access to great craft beer, but you can raise your glass to support an organization, Valparaiso Events, that works year-round to create a vibrant, thriving community!

September 17, 2022  Oktoberfest - Richmond, Indiana
Break out your Lederhosen and brush up on your German! Come celebrate the coming of Oktober with friends and soon-to-be-made friends at this year’s OKTOBERFEST in the Historic Depot District of Richmond, Indiana! During this family friendly event, enjoy delicious German food & try locally made beer from the Depot District’s New Boswell Brewery while playing games, listening to live music and browsing locally made goods and crafts at the street fair.

September 3-6, 2021  30th Annual Ligonier Marshmallow Festival
Ligonier, Indiana
The Labor Day weekend festival celebrates marshmallows, one of Noble County's major products. Activities revolve around the marshmallow theme. Parades, arts and crafts, contests, rides, entertainment, car show and lots of delicious festival food.

September 7, 2019  Sunman Fall Festival - Sunman, Indiana
The Chamber is bringing back a Fall Festival to the community!!!  Music, Beer & Wine Gardens, Craft & Food Vendors, Kids Inflatables And Our Homemade Wine Contest.  Fireworks At Dark (Around 9pm)

September 7 & 14, 2019  Caramel Apple Festival - Greenfield, Indiana
• Visit the Farm Store for Apples, Cider, and more.  • Pick your own Apples in the orchard to take home. • Tractor Town Adventure Farm Area.  • Watch the Bees:  See the honey bees hard at work making honey.  • Take a hayride.  • Caramel Apple Hunt.  • Enjoy the Agrimaze, Corn Maze.  • Build your own Caramel Apple.  There is no admission charge for the festival.  There is a separate charge for some activities and food items. Saturday Combo pass is available for $9 (includes Agrimaze, Tractor Town, and Hayride).
