October 2-4 & 9-11, 2015  47th Annual Apple Harvest Festival
Southington, Connecticut
Our annual festival is a family oriented community event spanning the first two weekends in October. Over the course of two weekends each autumn, the festival offers a wide variety of live music & entertainment, food, contests, crafts, children's activities, carnival rides and more. Also highlighted each year is our parade, an arts & crafts show and a spectacular evening fireworks display.   Attendance: 100,000

Autumn food options,  nostalgic crafts made and sold on site, wagon rides, farm market vendors, and working dairy farm. Learn how farming was done in yesteryear.  Step back in time to recall our forefathers roots. A superb opportunity to mix leisure, learning, and fun.

October 4-18, 2015  Westport Restaurant Week
Westport, Connecticut
The event offers consumers great deals and the opportunity to experience some new restaurants, as well as re-visit some of their favorites. Produced by the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce, this two week long celebration of the fabulous dining scene in Westport  has become a highly anticipated annual event.  Lunch menus are priced at $15, $20 or $25 and Dinners are priced at $25, $30 or $35. Several restaurants are also offering a special brunch menu too.

October 5-10, 2015  Greater Valley Restaurant Week - Connecticut
Enjoy special menus at more than 20 participating Greater Valley restaurants.  New restaurants and old favorites cater to every palate. Contemporary cuisine, traditional fare with a  twist and an eclectic mix of international and ethnic dishes make for unparalleled dining. The 3rd Annual Milford Restaurant Week returns.  Many restaurants will offer a special 3-course promotional price to allow residents and visitors to choose and visit several restaurants during the week.

October 10-11, 2015  Garlic & Harvest Festival
Bethlehem, Connecticut
Bethlehem Fairgrounds.  Join us for the area’s most unique festival, now in its eleventh year!  Fresh garlic and farm produce, garlic specialty food vendors, crafts, garlic food court, garlic growing lectures, garlic cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, rides & amusements, and plenty of samples make this a must for the garlic lover.  Bring the kids, and your appetite!

Enjoy a hot bowl of chowder on a cool fall day during Chowder Days at Mystic Seaport. Coastal Gourmet's menu is sure to satisfy all appetites and will feature numerous selections of chowders, bisques, stews and gumbos to select from, as well as clam fritters, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers and fish tacos. October 6, 2014  Connecticut Brewers Fest - Stratford, Connecticut
Over 20 CT brewers under one roof at the first ever Connecticut Brewers Fest presented by Two Roads Brewing. $25 gets you a can glass and three oz pours of some of the best beer the Nutmeg state has to offer. Food trucks will be parked outside for your eating enjoyment. Very limited tickets available. All proceeds of this festival go to the Connecticut Brewers' Guild.
