July 14-16, 2017  Slow Food Nations
Denver, Colorado
1. Carlo Petrini is coming! Meet the founder of the global Slow Food movement and hear the stories of people around the world taking ownership over their local food systems.  2. So many amazing workshops. From making cheese to canning tuna and starting your own wild yeast sourdough, there is something for everyone.  3. Kids' Gardens. Don't leave your kids at home! There are lots of hands-on activities for kids of all ages to get their hands in the dirt and learn about good, clean and fair food.  4. Delicious food. August 5, 2017  Olathe Sweet Corn Festival
Olathe, Colorado
All the 'Olathe Sweet' sweet corn you can eat. Free contests, games, over 150 food, arts and crafts, carnival games, commercial, ride and novelty booths. The Agricultural Center features informative and educational exhibits.  Attendance: 16,000
