September 1-3, 2023 - Oktoberfest - Beaver Creek, Colorado
Beaver Creek's annual Oktoberfest returns with foot stompin' oom-pah-pah music, unbeatable beer and wunderbar wurst! Enjoy complimentary live entertainment in Beaver Creek Plaza all weekend and be sure to take advantage of great lodging packages for the event. It’s the perfect time to be outdoors and hike, bike, play a round of golf and celebrate Oktoberfest in Beaver Creek.

September 2-4, 2023  A Taste of Colorado - Denver, Colorado
NO EVENT OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND FOR 2023.  The state’s largest free-admission outdoor event, A Taste of Colorado draws more than 500,000 visitors annually. Five entertainment stages include national, local, and ethnic music in a variety of genres, children’s performers, and much more. Festivalgoers also can try a variety of culinary delights from more than 50 of Colorado’s favorite food establishments, including a culinary showcase. Plus, visitors can enjoy the offerings of more than 275 marketplace artisans and vendors, as well as educational programs promoting the diverse cultural and Western heritage of the region.  Festival of Mountain and Plain … A Taste of Colorado is a community celebration that is produced by and benefits Downtown Denver Events, Inc., the Downtown Denver Partnership family’s community events nonprofit organization. The Festival is an opportunity for people throughout the region to come together to experience and appreciate our diverse cultural traditions, and to learn more about our state’s Western heritage. The Festival highlights visual and performing arts in addition to featuring educational programs and culinary demonstrations.  Attendance: 500,000.

September 9, 2023  Superior Chili & Beer Fest - Superior, Colorado
The Town of Superior and the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley are once again hosting the Town’s biggest event of the year. This year's event features two live bands, food trucks (selling non-chili items), beer, cider and seltzer sampling from local breweries, a super-sized kids' zone, and local vendors coordinated by the Superior Chamber. General entry is FREE.

September 9, 2023  San Luis Valley Potato Festival
Monte Vista, Colorado
Chapman Park 8 am to 4 p.m. Food demonstrations and family fun activities.  This festival is a celebration of the Colorado potato harvest, Colorado Potatoes hosts the annual San Luis Valley Potato Festive in beautiful Monte Vista, CO! This year will be the Festival’s 11th Anniversary from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival then moves to finish the celebration at Ski Hi Park for more entertainment (ATV/Motorcycle show) with more food/beer available.

September 9, 2023  25th Annual Chili and Beer Festival
Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado
Kick off your fall season the right way at the Mt. Crested Butte Chili and Beer Festival held at the base of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort.  Sample locally made chilis, sip some of Colorado’s finest craft beer, and enjoy some great tunes from great bands.

September 9, 2023  Big Chili Cook-Off Music & Arts Festival
Evergreen, Colorado
Buchanan Park 10am - 5pm.  A celebration of fun, food, live entertainment, kids' activities, vendors and more!  Over 3,000 attend this event each year. Don't miss the annual Firefighters Challenge!  Event proceeds benefit the local mountain fire departments from Elk Creek, Evergreen, Indian Hills, Inter Canyon, North Fork & Platte Canyon.

September 9, 2023  Brighton Chili Fest - Brighton, Colorado
The ultimate celebration of the green chile harvest  is returning to Brighton. Fire up your skillets and your pallets! Cash prizes and recognition for the winners of an amateur recipe competition. Prizes for original recipes using green chiles. Entries will be judged on creativity, appearance and of course, taste.

September 15-16, 2023  Annual Snowmass Wine Festival
Snowmass Village, Colorado
Join us for this year’s extraordinary four-course wine dinner “Northwest Passage’” at the Viceroy Snowmass.  Explore the distinct wine growing regions of Oregon and Washington State with featured wine growing experts, and join us for a spirited Live Auction. September 15-17, 2023  29th Annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival
Telluride, Colorado
The festival is a three-day celebration of music and microbrews, held in Telluride Town Park, an outdoor music venue with breathtaking mountains for a backdrop.

September 15-23, 2023  Annual Denver Beer Week - Denver, Colorado
Featuring more than 100 beer related events at area breweries, restaurants, tap houses and attractions. From beer tastings to firkin tappings, events include beer bike nights, midnight beer breakfasts, beer paired dinners, brewery tours, brewer vs brewer competitions, meet the brewer nights, tap takeovers, beer quizzes, and even a beer street party with bands, brews and food trucks.

September 16-17, 2023  43rd Annual Sugar Beet Days
Sterling, Colorado
Sugar Beet Days was established in 1981 and is held annually on the 3rd weekend of September.  Sugar Beet Days is the premier festival in northeast Colorado with 200+ food and craft vendors and two full days of entertainment.  Historic Logan County Courthouse Square in beautiful downtown Sterling, Colorado.  The festival truly has something for everyone.

September 21-23, 2023  Great American Beer Festival
Denver, Colorado
America's greatest beer celebration:  46,000 + attendees, 700 Breweries and 2,800+ beers.  The Great American Beer Festival is the premier U.S. beer competition, showcasing the finest examples of more than 100 beer styles.  Attendance: 46,000.

September 22-24, 2023  Downtown Boulder's Fall Fest
Boulder, Colorado
Downtown Boulder’s Fall Fest has been one of Boulder’s most beloved community celebrations. This 3-day autumn festival features food, brews and music with the added excitement of Children’s Activities and featuring Firefly Handmade Markets.

September 22-24, 2023  29th Annual Chile & Frijoles Festival
Pueblo, Colorado
The festival celebrates the harvest of the Mira Sol Chile, transforming downtown into an outdoor party highlighted by music, arts & crafts, cooking competitions, and chiles, chiles, chiles.  Attendance: 140,000.

September 28-October 1, 2023  Steamboat Food & Wine Festival
Steamboat Springs, Colorado

The Beer Fest will feature approximately 20-25 local breweries offering a wide variety of outstanding beers. Food Fight! is a food competition between Denver's top chefs.  The chefs will compete in three categories: appetizer, main course, and dessert. The evening will be full of great eats, sips, and opportunities to mingle. Raising funds and awareness to fight Scleroderma disease, the event will be held at the BAC Appliance Center in Englewood, CO. from 6-9pm.
