Good Ol’ Summertime Ice Cream Social & Pie Baking Contest
Manitou Springs, Colorado
Each year members of the community compete in the pie baking contest and enjoy scoops of homemade ice cream. From 5:30pm until 8:00pm neighbors, friends, and guests can enjoy their homemade desserts and socialize. Two fruit pies from each contest participant are judged by 3 respected individuals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. One slice of pie is $2.00 and a generous scoop of old fashioned ice cream is only $1.00. The pies are supplied by contest participants and are served until there is none left. Get to the pavilion early for prime seating spots and your choice of pie. The judging of the pies starts at 5:00pm and at 5:30pm the treats will be sliced and served.

Each year, the American Cheese Society (ACS) hosts the foremost educational conference and world-renowned cheese competition in North America. More than 1,000 professionals, purchasers, and influencers from throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe attend to network, sample products, and learn from industry experts. The Conference culminates in the Festival of Cheese, where competition cheeses are available for sampling alongside craft beer, wine, cider, and specialty foods.
July 28-29, 2017 Summer Brew Fest - Denver, Colorado
Mile High Station. The fest will celebrate craft beverages from around Colorado and other U.S. microbrews and will feature live local music, food, and other vendors. This event benefits Swallow Hill Music Association.

An annual event at the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic site, featuring live bluegrass music and a tasting involving fine local restaurants as well as a plethora of wine and beer vendors. Proceeds from the festival are donated to Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.

Chef Kelly Whitaker, of Boulder's Basta and Denver's Cart-Driver, is the mastermind behind this Trash Fish Dinner. In addition to working tirelessly with our Boulder/Denver community on the upcoming Sustainable Food Summit, he has put together a dream team of chefs for this special event! Seattle Fish Co. is graciously providing the underutilized fish species.
