48th Annual National Shrimp Festival
Gulf Shores, Alabama
The Annual National Shrimp Festival is one of the nation’s premier outdoor festivals attracting 250,000 people, featuring over 300 vendors that offer fine art, arts & crafts, a retail marketplace, outdoor village, and of course, SHRIMP!! Two stages offer continuous musical entertainment while the little one’s attention is captured in the Children’s Activity Village where they create their own “art” and participate in other fun-filled activities.  Attendance: 250,000
 

October 26, 2019
Elberta German Sausage Festival
Elberta, Alabama
We're the original, and still the best! Twice a year, the last Saturday in both March and October. Join us at the German Sausage Festival for Elberta's famous German sausage & sauerkraut, plus continuous entertainment for adults and children, and over 200 arts & crafts booths. Carnival rides, polka, country, contemporary and German music will also be provided for entertainment.  Attendance: 30,000.
 

November 1-10, 2019
National Peanut Festival - Dothan, Alabama
Approximately half of the peanuts grown in the United States are grown within a 100-mile radius of Dothan, Alabama. This is the nation's largest peanut festival. It is held each fall to honor peanut growers and to celebrate the harvest season.
