Highlights will include crafts, food, games, and entertainment. Benefits the Loxley Elementary School and the Association of Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County. Attendance: 80,000.

April 29-30, 2011  13th Annual Lebanese Food & Cultural Festival - Birmingham, AL
Many traditional Lebanese foods, cultural booths, Lebanese dancing and entertainment. Held at St. Elias Maronite Church.

April 30, 2011  3rd Annual BBQ for Building - Birmingham, Alabama
Teams will compete in a barbeque cook-off for the title of Grand Champion and their team being listed as sponsor for an upcoming Habitat home.   All proceeds go toward the funding of Habitat for Humanity’s housing programs. The event will feature live music by local band, great food and fun for all.

October 15-16, 2011  Alabama Gourd Show - Cullman, Alabama

October 22, 2011  Syrup Sopping Day - Loachapoka, Alabama
Traditionally since the town's earliest days, Loachapoka farmers have made fine tasting syrup from sorghum and ribbon cane. On Syrup Sopping Day an estimated 15,000 people make an annual pilgrimage to Loachapoka to celebrate this heritage.

Approximately half of the peanuts grown in the United States are grown within a 100-mile radius of Dothan, Alabama. This is the nation's largest peanut festival. It is held each fall to honor peanut growers and to celebrate the harvest season.

November 5, 2011  Cane Syrup Makin' Day - Beatrice, Alabama
