Florence Wine Fest is a rain or shine annual celebration of wine, food and community in downtown Florence, AL. Established in 2016 by Jason Allen and Caleb Banks of The Carriage Wine & Market, the festival attracts hundreds of attendees each March from around the nation to flock to cobblestoned Mobile Plaza for the opportunity to explore hundreds of fantastic wines from around the globe and local food pairings from some of the Shoals' best chefs.

Mobile, Alabama

March 30, 2019  Elberta German Sausage Festival - Elberta, Alabama
We're the original, and still the best! Twice a year, the last Saturday in both March and October. Join us at the German Sausage Festival for Elberta's famous German sausage & sauerkraut, plus continuous entertainment for adults and children, and over 200 arts & crafts booths. Other scrumptious foods will include German style filled cabbage, potato salad, goulash, red beans & rice, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, ice cream, popcorn and peanuts. There will be baked goods as well as arts & crafts for sale at the festival. Carnival rides, polka, country, contemporary and German music will also be provided for entertainment.  Attendance: 30,000.

Welcome spring with the annual BBQ & Blues Cook-Off, held the third Saturday in March in downtown Foley’s Heritage Park. In addition to great food, enjoy live blues music, arts and crafts, and children’s activities. Mostly, enjoy the delicious, finger-licking, grilled concoctions from competing BBQ teams!
