Come have a toe-tappin, barbeque-eatin' good time. BBQ competitions, music and more. All proceeds benefit EarlyWorks Children's Museum & educational programs for area children.
May 18, 2013 29th Annual Poke Salat Festival - Arab, Alabama
Named for the wild Pokeweed and the German word for "salad", the festival will offer an ice cream eating contest, a variety of food, crafts, and live music.
June 8, 2013 Festivals on the Square - Headland, Alabama
By joining the Daylily Festival and the Blueberry Festival Headland, residents and visitors will have the best of both festivals tied into one huge event – Festivals on the Square. Three big contests are planned for the Festivals on the Square - Daylily Contest, Blueberry Recipe Contest and the Blueberry Pie-Eating Contest. All are open to the public and to all ages.
