Oyster Cook-Off - Craft Spirits & Beer Weekend
Gulf Shores, Alabama
The Hangout Oyster Cook-Off - Spirits & Craft Beer Weekend showcases the talents and tastes of the best chefs from the Southeast for a decadent afternoon of oysters and spirits on the beach in beautiful Gulf Shores, AL. Sample inspired oyster dishes from over 60 restaurants who will be serving Rockefeller, Gulf Coast Cajun and Raw Oysters. Sharpen your culinary skills with fun & informative cooking demos throughout the day Saturday.  Over 60 craft beers will be on available from breweries such as Oskar Blues, Good People, Straight To Ale, Abita, Lagunitas, Fairhope Brewing, and Goose Island. Plus, craft cocktails, Champagne, and Bloody Marys will be featured throughout the day to help wash the oysters down.

November 1-3, 2019  Alabama Pecan Festival - Mobile, Alabama
Live entertainment, arts and crafts, food, carnival rides, children's talent show, Jet/Hank Williams Songwriters and Talent Contest, charity bakeoff.

November 1-10, 2019  National Peanut Festival - Dothan, Alabama
Approximately half of the peanuts grown in the United States are grown within a 100-mile radius of Dothan, Alabama. This is the nation's largest peanut festival. It is held each fall to honor peanut growers and to celebrate the harvest season.

Wine on the River World Tour
Mobile, Alabama
From 4pm-8pm at Cooper Riverside Park. Sample wine from national and international vineyards. With an “Around the World” theme focusing on cultural regions there will be wine and food for purchase in each selected area. Live music entertainment will be going throughout the evening to keep the fun going.

November 2-3, 2019  37th Annual St. Nicholas Russian/Slavic Food Festival - Brookside, Alabama
Ethnic Eastern European foods, plate lunches, bakery, imported gifts, tour of historic St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church (established 1894), music and entertainment.  Free.  Wheelchair accessable.

Orange Beach, Alabama
The Ultimate Food Fight: 2018 World Food Championships Categories include: Barbecue, Chili, Sandwich, Burger, Dessert, Bacon, Seafood, Steak and Chicken.

November 16-17, 2018 - Fruitcake Festival - Monroeville, Alabama
Monroe County Heritage Museum will host the Annual Fruitcake Festival, inspired by Truman Capote’s heart-warming Christmas Stories. Locally made fruitcakes, in specially designed tins, will be for sale all day Friday. A special theatrical performance brings Capote's stories to life at 7:00 pm in the world-famous courtroom of the Old Courthouse Museum.

November 28-Dec 1, 2018 - Christmas On the River & Alabama State Barbeque Cookoff - Demopolis, Alabama
BBQ Cookoff, Parade, Dance, Fireworks, and Jingle Bell Run held in "Demopolis, the city of the people where two rivers meet".  Attendance: 30,000.
