The Delaware State Fair's Triple Threat BBQ Festival, where food and fun lovers collide for the ultimate feast. As a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event, the Triple Threat is every bit a competition as it is a good time for visitors. Jam packed with 2 days of fun, the BBQ Fest includes live music, carnival rides, corn hole, and of course, beer, wine, and barbecue. BBQ competitions will offer prizes ranging from $100.00 to $2,500.00 for each category: beef brisket, pork ribs, chicken, pork. Grand Champion $2,500.00, Reserve Champion $1,300.00, Delaware State Champion $1,500.00.

Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour
NEXT EVENT IS IN 2018. The Junior League of Wilmington presents its 11th Heart of the Home Kitchen Tour, which will showcase fabulous, recently renovated dream kitchens while offering scrumptious food samples and demonstrations from some of the area’s top chefs and restaurants. The self-guided Tour, which is the League’s major biannual fundraiser, will include 18 kitchens in the Greater Wilmington area, including locations in Wilmington, Greenville, Hockessin, Newark, and southern Chester County. A rain or shine event, the Tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $30 per person or four for $100, and $35 per person on the day of the Tour.
