June 3, 2017  Oskar Blues Brewery’s Burning Can Festival
Lyons, Colorado
The Burning Can (notjusta) Beer Fest is an outdoor music-soaked celebration of craft beer in a can, featuring beer sampling, spectator sports, The Beer Relay race, and live music  with all proceeds benefitting CAN'd Aid Foundation.

June 1-9, 2016  Young Cattlemen's Conference - Denver, Colorado
The primary objective is to develop leadership qualities in young cattlemen and women and expose them to all aspects of the beef industry. The tour will begin in Denver with a comprehensive overview of the industry. Chicago is the next destination, where the group will visit the Chicago Board of Trade. The participants will then travel to the nation’s Capitol, where they will meet with their respective congressmen and senators.

June 3-4, 2016  Mike The Headless Chicken Festival - Fruita, Colorado

June 4, 2016  Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival
Manitou Springs, Colorado


It’s time for the Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival! More than 3,500 people attend the festival each year for live music, food, vendors, and wine tastings. Savor the taste of local Colorado wines paired with great food and atmosphere. You may even want to purchase bottles to take home and share with friends and family. Enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz, blues, and folk music live for your listening pleasure.  Tickets prices include admission to wine tastings and a free Colorado Wine Festival wine glass. Be one the first 1,500 to purchase tickets and receive a fee wine tote!

June 10, 2016  Drink Pink Vino International Rosé Wine Festival
Broomfield, Colorado
Omni Interlocken Outdoor Pavilion in Broomfield, Colorado from 5 - 9:00 p.m. (general admission). Festival attendees will be treated to samplings of over sixty new Rosé releases, just in time for the summer Rosé drinking season. Strolling French jazz musicians will provide the musical ambience, and guests will also be treated to gourmet foods. Tickets are $65/person general admission and $95/person VIP. VIP tickets are limited to 100 guests, and include early admission at 5 p.m., a raw bar and a Champagne sabering demonstration.

June 10-11, 2016  16th Annual Boats, Bands & BBQ
Pueblo, Colorado
The Annual Loaf N' Jug Boats, Bands and BBQ Festival.  Includes: Steel City BrewFest - KCBS BBQ competition - People's Choice Competition - Kids Fun Zone - Hot Wing Eating Contest - Live Entertainment.  The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP) is a 32 acre urban waterfront experience open to the public daily. The Riverwalk returned the river to its historic location in the heart of downtown Pueblo, after being diverted in the 1920s due to a devastating flood that destroyed much of Pueblo. The Riverwalk’s current location serves the community by revitalizing a segment of the downtown area that was previously unsightly and unusable. This urban development transforms the community and has been vital in attracting new businesses, thereby helping to stabilize the economic base of the city.

June 11, 2016  29th Annual Rhubarb Festival
Pine Grove, Colorado
Pancake breakfast (with rhubarb sauce), music, parade, crafts, fun activities for kids. Winners of the rhubarb cooking contest will be crowned Rhubarb King & Queen and get to ride in the parade! Benefit for Pine Elk Creek Improvement Association and the North Fork Fire Department.

June 16-18, 2016  23rd Annual Colorado BBQ Challenge
Frisco, Colorado
Approximately 70 BBQers will compete for a variety of awards. Teams compete in a wide range of categories including pork, ribs, chicken, brisket, anything goes, barbecue sauce, side dish, salsa and dessert.  Each team competes for the coveted Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles.  You don’t want to miss out on getting your own plate of this BBQ!  Other BBQ favorites include Chef Demonstrations presented on the Viking Stage; Pig Races; a Whiskey Tour (advance registration required); and a variety of musical entertainment.

June 17-19, 2016  119th Annual Strawberry Days Festival
Glenwood Springs, Colorado

June 17-19, 2016  Food & Wine Classic in Aspen - Aspen, Colorado
The FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen celebrates its 34th year in 2016 as America's premier culinary event. It consists of three incomparable days of cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and panel discussions by world-class chefs and wine experts.

June 18, 2016  Grand Cochon - Aspen, Colorado
Cochon555, the signature culinary competition featuring five chefs cooking five heritage breed pigs in a friendly competition for a cause.  The tour is dedicated to helping Piggy Bank create the first open-source agriculture platform for heritage species while raising global awareness for socially responsible farming. The event unites consumers with local farmers, renowned chefs, prominent winemakers, restaurateurs, craft brewers and distillers in each city for a nose-to-tail culinary showdown celebrating family farms. At each event, 500 guests including notable judges will vote for the best bite amongst 2,000 pounds of awesomeness and the winning chef will be announced the “Princess or Prince of Porc”. On June 18th, the ten regional winners of Cochon555 fly to Aspen/Snowmass to compete at Grand Cochon, a spotlight of 10 chefs, 10 pigs and the best 30 bites from tour. The winner of the grand finale walks away with the crown and title of “2016 King or Queen of Porc”.

June 18, 2016  Lake Dillon Brew Festival - Dillon, Colorado
Colorado's world-class breweries will gather to serve up craft beers to thirsty crowds of avid beer connoisseurs. The cost is $35 per person to sample tasty suds from over 25 Colorado breweries while enjoying live music. The Tasting will be 'hoppenin' from 1 - 5 p.m.  A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Colorado Brewers Guild, a non-profit association who, among other things, advocates to work with the state legislature on behalf of Colorado's craft brewers.

Colorado Springs, Colorado
USA Rice Millers’ Association (RMA).  The RMA Convention’s longevity speaks to the value of this annual professional forum for the U.S. rice milling industry and allied businesses, including domestic and international customers for U.S.-grown rice.  The educational program will include topics related to trade and economic issues that affect opportunities and challenges for the rice industry.  A trade show will highlight rice milling related equipment, products and services.

June 1-7, 2014  Colorado Wine Week - Denver, Colorado
In 2011, Gov. John Hickenlooper, a former brewing industry leader who has been a huge supporter of local everything, declared the first week of June “Colorado Wine Week” to coincide with the first annual Colorado Urban Winefest.  It has grown to feature seven days of local wine celebration!  Colorado wine and small plate specials at top restaurants.  Specialized events almost every night of the week.  Also annual Colorado Urban Winefest.

June 7, 2014  Colorado Urban Winefest - Denver, Colorado
The fourth annual Colorado Urban Winefest returns June 7 to Infinity Park in Glendale. More than three-dozen Colorado wineries will get together for the grand tasting of Colorado Wine Week, serving up samples alongside the best flavors of the Denver restaurant scene.

Woodland Park, Colorado
Held Fridays and Saturday from June through September. Roadkill Chili Cook-Off, Chalk Drawing Contest for Kids, Dog Walk, Live Music.  Next to a Farmers Market, at the base of Pikes Peak are places to camp, fish, hike, ride horses, and just hang.

June 7, 2012  Annual Celebration of Premiere Colorado Wines at the Governor's Residence - Denver, Colorado
The Denver chapter of the American Wine Society is organizing a statewide competition for Colorado wines.  The medal winning wineries will be pouring their wines at reception at the Governor's Residence at the Boetcher Mansion for the public, as a fundraiser for the Governor's Residence Preservation Fund.
