There are so many events on Thanksgiving Day they are to numerous to list.

Holiday Lighting Extravaganza
Pueblo, Colorado
Join us for the annual Holiday Lighting extravaganza presented by Pueblo Toyota here at the Riverwalk! Enjoy a festive boat ride along the lighted Riverwalk channel from 5:00-8:00PM. Boat rides will cost $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids 12 & under. There will also be holiday characters walking around the channel and Santa will be here to take pictures with the kids.  The night will feature live performances and your first chance to see the KPHT Jingle Bell Rock! The evening will then be concluded with a firework show over Lake Elizabeth.  Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Location: Welcome Center and Lake Elizabeth - Admission: FREE.

The Annual Denver International Wine Festival is the premier International wine and food festival in the Rocky Mountains!

November 2-4, 2018 - 15th Annual Colorado Country Christmas Gift Show - Denver, Colorado
Enjoy visiting over 400 unique displays located at the Mart Expo Halls and the Plaza. Many of our premier companies are located in the Expo II & III halls. Visit the Expo I Showrooms to see individual store fronts and discover new specialty foods in the Plaza.  Colorado’s top chefs share recipes and cooking techniques to help you prepare a memorable feast for the holidays. Chef Greg Matchett hosts this entertaining and informative program. Demonstrations begin at noon daily in the Plaza.

Creede Chocolate Festival
Creede, Colorado
Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving. This event showcases luscious samples of chocolate specialties created by local business owners and individuals.  Wonderful, yet sometimes unusual, chocolate delights range from tiramisu, tortes and chocolate covered pretzels, to jalapeno bean fudge and chocolate dipped bacon. Eating your way around Creede will be easy—but casting your vote for the People's Choice award can be challenging!

November 30, 2018 - January 6, 2019  Zoo Lights - Denver, Colorado
Zoo Lights will span through 60 acres of Denver Zoo's campus, with nightly entertainment, animal encounters, Santa meet-and-greets and, of course, illuminated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns hide in bushes and appear in places where they’re least expected. 5:30-9 p.m.

November 16, 2017 - 19th Annual Beaujolais and Beyond
Denver, Colorado
An annual fundraiser for the Rocky Mountain French-American Chamber of Commerce. It celebrates the arrival of this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau wine to the Rocky Mountain Region and gathers over 600 French and American business leaders, francophiles, and food and wine enthusiasts from across the Denver metro area.  The event features a culinary challenge for over 20 Colorado chefs who showcase their cuisine by creating French-inspired dishes paired with Beaujolais Nouveau wine.  The competition is judged by professionals in the community during a pre-event competition, and also by guests at the event for a People’s Choice Award. In addition to the food, there is an abundance of French wines – close to 40 varieties in years past! Live entertainment rounds out the festival.

The annual lighting of the City & County Building in partnership with 9NEWS. The official kick-off to the holiday season in Denver. The event is free and open to the public
