November 4-9, 2018 - New Haven Restaurant Week
New Haven, Connecticut
Nearly 30 of downtown New Haven’s award-winning and internationally diverse restaurants are featuring $17 lunch and $34 dinner prix fixe menus.  Participating restaurants will offer a multi-course, prix fixe menu typically consisting of an appetizer, entrée and dessert.  Reservations are highly recommend, so book your tables early!

November 5, 2017 - Touch-A-Truck & 10th Annual Chili Cook Off
Stamford, Connecticut
Get hands-on with some cool, larger-than-life vehicles during Touch-A-Truck. Find out how these trucks work, what purposes they serve, and climb inside a few. Also sample some of the finest chili from area competitors at the Annual Stamford Charity Chili Cookoff. The Cookoff supports the Stamford Museum & Nature Center and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County.

November 5, 2017  The Great Mac & Chili Challenge
Westport, Connecticut
11:00am to 3:00pm.  Sherwood Island State Park.  Enjoy unlimited sampling of  20 different chili's and mac 'n cheese entries from great local restaurants.  Your vote will determines the best in four categories:  Beef Chili, Creative Chili and Classic Mac 'n Cheese and Creative Mac!.  Tickets are just $15 adults, $5 kids (6-12) can be bought online or at the door (cash or credit).

November 23, 2014  Holidays Around the World Tea and 'Just Desserts'
Willimantic, Connecticut
Holidays Around the World Tea and “Just Desserts” A fundraiser to benefit the Windham Textile and History Museum’s programs will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 4 to 6 pm, at the Museum. Desserts from many countries will be served at beautifully decorated tables representing holidays in other countries. Included will be the Netherlands, Canada, Italy and more. This event honors the ethnic diversity of the twenty-six nationalities that worked in the mills of eastern Connecticut. Cost is $12 per person in advance; $15 at the door. Reservations are requested. Limited seating may be available at the door. For reservations call 860-456-2178 or send an email to: [email protected]   Reserve a specific table in advance, or take pot luck at the door.
