August 6, 2016  Taste of the Caribbean & Jerk Festival
Hartford, Connecticut
The Caribbean population of the The Greater Hartford area proudly presents their scrumptious culinary delights, at the 11th Annual Taste of The Caribbean & Jerk Festival at the Mortensen RiverFront Plaza. The Taste of the Caribbean & Jerk Festival, is now one of The Riverfront Plaza Signature events which is enjoyed by our diverse Greater Hartford population annually.

August 13, 2016  Corn Fest - Middlefield, Connecticut
Bring family and friends for a fun day in the country with live music, great food and bushels of outdoor activities for all ages. Enjoy delicious Corn and Blueberry treats at the Apple Barrel; Go blueberry picking in the orchards; visit the Apple Barrel for cider donuts, treats at the Outdoor Grill and lots of fresh-baked Pies! August 20, 2016  42nd Annual Milford Oyster Festival
Milford, Connecticut
Our festival has grown from a tiny local one-day celebration of the oyster and our wonderful seaside community into one of Connecticut’s summer highlights. You will find entertainment for children and music fans, harbor canoe and kayak races, over 200 arts and crafts vendors from around the country, a classic car show, and tremendous food.

August 4, 2012  Annual Green Corn Festival
Washington, Connecticut
For many years corn has been an integral part of the annual cycle of life for most Native American peoples. Celebrate the time of year when the first corn is ready to be eaten at our Sixth Annual Green Corn Festival! Join us for an afternoon of traditional Eastern Woodland style song and dance and a taste of traditional foods. Held at the Institute for American Indian Studies.

August 4, 2012  St. John's 3rd Annual Summer Food Festival
Washington, Connecticut
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John s Episcopal Church, 78 Green Hill Road, Washington, Conn. Booths will offer locally grown and produced foods, from savory to sweet, fresh to prepared, as well as plants, herbs and must have cooking utensils and entertaining accessories. Shoppers can fill their market baskets with vegetables, fruit, breads, pastries, cheeses, desserts, herbs, plants and more homegrown goodies. Cold soups, sandwiches, popcorn and other delectables will be available to sustain visitors as they shop. Hot dogs on the grill, a lemonade stand, arts and crafts projects to occupy the youngest Festival goers, all to the accompaniment of a live Bluegrass band, will complete the experience. The Food Festival is free, and open to the public. A portion of the proceeds from sales will benefit St. John s several outreach projects, including year-round work with area food pantries, Easter and Thanksgiving food baskets, back-to-school backpacks and a holiday Angel Tree, all of which go to children and families in need.

August 22-23, 2012  New Haven Food & Wine Festival
New Haven, Connecticut
The fifth annual festival will return this summer as a newly expanded series of culinary offerings, complete with five events for "foodies",  featuring more than 20 of the city's top restaurants providing guests with multiple opportunities to sample an array of cuisine, wine and cocktails.
