June 3, 2016  80th Anniversary Food and Wine Celebration
Stamford, Connecticut
At the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.  5:30-9:30pm.  Enjoy a festive evening of fine wines and music while sampling a wide variety of delicious food, courtesy of area caterers and restaurants. Presented in a NEW VENUE, this year’s event will be a tented affair along the SM&NC’s Meadow at Bendel Pond.

June 11, 2016  South Windsor Strawberry Fest & Craft Fair
South Windsor, Connecticut
The festival features a huge craft fair, Miss Strawberry pageant, entertainment, festival food, and the 'undisputed world's best strawberry shortcake'

June 11-12, 2016 - 9th Annual Rhubarb Festival - Sherman, Connecticut
White Silo Farm & Winery.  Rhubarb cobbler, Rhubarb compote, Rhubarb ice cream, and more made with our farm grown rhubarb.

June 11-12, 2016 - Sun BBQFest - Uncasville, Connecticut
A weekend-long event featuring celebrity BBQ Chef Myron Mixon along with live music and entertainment, beer trailers, local vendors, food trucks, fireworks and more!   As part of the event, grill masters and foodies can get in on the BBQ action for just $5 (kids under 6 are free), with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Operation BBQ Relief and its mission to provide hot meals to people who have been affected by disasters across the United States.  Additional highlights include: • Live cooking demonstrations and book signing with American celebrity chef and  three-time barbecue World Champion, Myron Mixon.  • People’s Choice Contest where guests can receive samples and vote from 20 participating Kansas City BBQ Society teams.  • Rib Contest and Wing Challenge with a sampling of 5 ribs or 5 wings for festival goers to judge.

June 18, 2016  79th Annual Cheshire Strawberry Festival
Cheshire, Connecticut
The festival features mouth-watering fresh strawberry shortcake along with plenty of other great food. There are games and amusements for children of all ages, a petting zoo, live music, and a craft fair. Sponsored by First Congregational Church, the event is held on Church Green in the center of historic Cheshire.


July 4, 2016  4TH OF JULY - Nationwide
There are so many events today they are too numerous to list.

July 7-9, 2016  Riverfest Food Truck Festival - Hartford, Connecticut
Almost every major city has a Food Truck Festival!  Now the food truck explosion comes to Hartford at Riverfront Recapture's annual Riverfest. This three-day event will feature some of the best mobile culinary cuisine in the region accompanied by live entertainment, family fun, and of course spectacular fireworks! On Friday evening, costumed attendees from the 12,000 person Connecticon convention will join the festivities during the Connecticon Happy Hour.  On Saturday Riverfest attracts a quarter million people to the region for the fireworks.

July 23-24, 2016  Connecticut Wine Festival - Goshen, Connecticut
Taste the best of Connecticut's wineries on the last weekend of July at the Goshen Fairgrounds, Goshen, CT.  Sample locally produced specialty foods.  Enjoy live music. Browse for handicrafts. Purchase bottles/cases of wines directly from the CT wineries at the festival. And much more. Presented by the Connecticut Wine Trail.

July 30-August 28, 2016 - Sunflower Maze - Middlefield, Connecticut
Lose yourself amid 350,000 blooming red and yellow sunflowers; search for the exit along miles of pathways and enjoy fun trivia along the way! Experience Connecticut's original Sunflower Maze and help a great cause. $1 of each admission is donated to Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

June 12-14, 2015  A Taste of Mystic 2015 - Mystic, Connecticut
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce this partnership with the Olde Mistick Village that will allow for the continuation of the popular Taste of Mystic event.

June 20-21, 2015  Stonington Vineyards Summer Wine Festival
Stonington, Connecticut
We are really stepping things up this year and this event is no exception.  Four live bands, gourmet food truck vendors, photo booths, Father/child relay races, wine tastings and more!

July 20-August 2, 2015  Taste of Hartford 2015 - Hartford, Connecticut
The 2015 summer version of the Taste of Hartford runs July 20 to Aug. 2, with special prix-fixe multi-course menus at more than 30 participating Hartford restaurants.

June 16, 2012  The Offshore Pour--A Craft Beer Boat Cruise
Norwalk, Connecticut
Taste some of the best craft beers from all over the country aboard the Island Belle, while enjoying BBQ and other great food plus live music.

July 20-21, 2012  Pick of the Crop - Washington Depot, Connecticut
A kitchen and garden tour of working vegetable gardens on July 21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cocktail Party on July 20, 6 to 8 p.m. Chefs on site at the cocktail party and in selected kitchens the day of the tour. Special event for children -- Farmer McGregor's Garden. Boutique, Raffle, Boxed lunches. Tickets are $50/person for the Cocktail Party and $50/person for the tour. Boxed lunches, $20. Children under 12 are admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
