September 14-17, 2017 - 31st Annual GrapeFest
Grapevine, Texas
Enjoy award-winning wine and culinary treats perfectly paired with the fun and excitement of Historic Downtown Grapevine at the largest wine festival in the Southwest. Grapevine Winery Tasting Room Tours, Culinary Pavilion, GrapeFest Tennis Classic, KidZone, GrapeStomp, People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic – the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the nation, six stages of entertainment and much more!
 

September 29-30, 2017
Galveston Island Shrimp Festival
Galveston, Texas
Three full days of shrimp, music, friends and fun begins on Friday and runs through Sunday.   Event activities include a Shrimp Gumbo Cook-Off, Gumbo Tasting, Free Outdoors Show, Official 5k, Lil' Shrimps Parade, Live Music, Vendors, Kids Area and a Strand Merchant Walk-About! There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy!  Free to public - $15 for Gumbo Tasting Cup  (also: www.galvestonshrimpfestival.com )  Attendance: 10,000.
 

October 7-8, 2017 - 12th Annual PalmFest International Folklife Celebration - McAllen, Texas
PalmFest will feature major attractions, historical displays, shopping, art, family games, rides and kids activities, cooking competitions and demonstrations, live entertainment, classic car show, diverse food and beverage. Over 40,000 people will enjoy the event inside the Convention Center and all around the grounds in the Oval Park and Reflecting Pond.
