The largest organic farming conference in the U.S. In 2008, more than 2,300 people attended, with participants traveling from 37 states and 1 foreign country. Dating back to 1914, Cheese Days is the oldest and largest food fest in the Midwest – honoring Swiss heritage and the cheesemaking and dairy farming traditions of the area.  Highlights of the weekend are:  live music and Swiss entertainment, Family Farm Adventure, an arts & crafts fair, carnival, street dance, historic cheesemaking demonstrations, antique car and tractor shows, a cow milking contest, and The Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade.
