February 28, 2015  Just Desserts Eat & Ski 2015 - Red River, New Mexico
Picture this: You’re cross country skiing or snowshoeing through a snowy forest when suddenly you come upon a group of people with chocolate on their faces licking their fingers and eating from a table laden with delectable goodies.  This is no fantasy, it’s “Just Desserts” Eat & Ski Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area’s most popular event. The theme is simple: Enchanted Forest puts homemade desserts out on a five kilometer course and skiers ski out to the different sites and indulge in delicious concoctions like the popular 18-Layer Chocolate Cinnamon Torte, Fudge, Wild Blueberry Pie, Triple Chocolate Kahlua Espresso Cake, gluten-free delights, and much more!

School Nutrition Association.  'Make the Grade with School Breakfast.'  It highlights how eating a nutritious breakfast helps students achieve success in the classroom and beyond.

March 6-8, 2015  27th Annual National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Now in its 27th year, it’s the largest and most visited show about spicy foods and barbecue in the world. Held each March in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it features 200+ exhibitor booths filled with more than 1,000 different products. The show attracts more than 20,000 trade and general public attendees from all over the world.

Elephant Butte Lake State Park, New Mexico
Red or Green? That’s the question of the day at the Elephant Butte Chili Challenge Cook Off, a charity event. Pay park entrance fees at the gate, then $2 per chili sample. People’s choice decides the winner. Also on hand – burgers, ice cream, and entertainment.

May 17-31, 2014  Albuquerque Beer Week - Albuquerque, New Mexico
This series of events brings the community together to celebrate great beers and the wonderful places in which we enjoy them. There is a little something for everyone to get excited about; new and existing beer lovers, foodies, and the unsuspecting general public will all love ABQ Beer Week as it promotes our bars, breweries and restaurants.

May 24-26, 2014  Southern New Mexico Wine Festival
Las Cruces, New Mexico
22nd Annual festival.  This oldest of our festival offerings kicks off the summer season. A crowd of over 12,000 makes the event an annual start to summer, tasting wines from around the state and learning, during hourly seminars, about wine and how to pair it with food. Live music, arts and crafts and a wide variety of agricultural products.

May 24-26, 2014  Albuquerque Wine Festival - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Located at the famous Balloon Fiesta grounds, the Albuquerque Wine Festival combines wines from around the state, arts and crafts, food, live music, and educational opportunities.

New Mexico State BBQ Championship.  Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned team competition for the serious competitor, Kids' Q, and Backyard BBQ categories, as well as entertainment, crafts exhibits, Roughstock Challenge mini rodeo for kids, and NM Centennial Shootout cowboy mounted shooting competition.
