77th North Dakota Winter Show - Valley City, North Dakota
The North Dakota Winter Show Event Center is the home of the oldest and longest running Agriculture Show in the State of North Dakota. The North Dakota Winter Show is held annually in March and provides a great deal of agriculture information to participants of all ages. The NDWS attracts exhibitors and visitors from many states and Canada with attendance increasing each year.   The mission of the North Dakota Winter Show is to provide an education for youth in the various segments of agri-business and to promote and expand agriculture through improved agriculture practices and techniques, and to honor our pioneer culture and heritages.  We will also strive to establish a quality and entertaining learning experience for people of all ages.


June 4-7, 2014  Happy Harry's RibFest - Fargo, North Dakota
Great Food, live entertainment, fun for the whole family with Riblet Fest for kids and the Games Galore midway. The best rib cookers from across the country compete to see who's are the best.

June 6-8, 2014  43rd Annual Irrigation Days - Oakes, North Dakota
An annual community celebration with a parade, fireworks, street dance, buffalo feed, and many other activities.

June 12-14, 2014  Rip-Roarin' Ribfest - Bismarck, North Dakota
The Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest is an annual Downtown event created to stimulate interest and excitement in the downtown area and bring our community together. Outstanding BBQ, Live Music, Kids Games, and more.

June 13-15, 2014  25th Annual Hawk Days Antique Farm Show
Wolford, North Dakota
Steam engines, plowing and threshing displays all four days. Live music all day long.

June 14-15, 2014  29th Annual North Dakota Farm Toy Show & Auction
LaMoure, North Dakota
Thousands of farm toys for sale, friendly vendors, a very good family friendly weekend event. Come out and see the Toy Farmer Museum also.

June 20-23, 2014  Lakota Turkey BBQ - Lakota, North Dakota
The 52nd annual turkey BBQ, including an open swim, variety/talent show, 5K race, parade, and golf tournament.

July 16-20, 2014  North Dakota Ukrainian Festival
Dickinson, North Dakota
Ukrainian Cultural Institute in North Dakota.  Annual ethnic festival, including concerts, dancing, Ukrainian meals, educational seminars, liturgy services, and more. A true Ukrainian and ethnic experience!

July 18-20, 2014  Divide County Annual Threshing and Antique Show
Crosby, North Dakota
Annual threshing and antique show.  Sawmill, threshing and blacksmith demonstrations daily.  Parades held on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm includes anitique and vintage steam engines, tractors, cars and other vehicles. Take a tour around the pioneer village and its 22  restored historical buildings, in a horse drawn bus.


July 18-26, 2014  North Dakota State Fair - Minot, North Dakota
The fair offers a wide variety of agricultural exhibits, great entertainment lineup, carnival, and much more.

August 8, 2014  Best of the West Ribfest - Watford City, North Dakota
Ribs & Fixings, Street Vendors, Live Music, Concessions, Kid Zone Fun & Games, Classic Car Show & Street Dance.

August 8-9, 2014  North Dakota Chokecherry Festival
Williston, North Dakota
The North Dakota Chokecherry Festival is a celebration of youth accomplishments and our state fruit, the chokecherry! This two-day family festival kicks off on Friday and features the 1000 Burger Feed, ice cream with chokecherry topping, vendor booths and live entertainment. It wraps up with an outdoor showing of "Pirates of the Caribbean." Saturday begins with a free pancake feed with chokecherry syrup, a 5k fun run, children's stroll/parade, vendors booths, live entertainment, Kid Zone, free swimming, train rides and dock dog jumping competition with Ultimate Air Dogs. A great family event to enjoy before getting back to school! 

August 14-17, 2014  Grant County Fair & 4-H Achievement Days
Carson, North Dakota
Livestock Show and sale, turtle races, youth rodeo, rodeo, pancake and sauage breakfast, pork barbecue, chili cook-off, parades, street dance, toilet bowl races, pine car derby, car and antique tractor show, 4-H Horse Show.

August 15-16, 2014  Wild West Grill Fest - Mandan, North Dakota
Now in its 5th year, the 2014 "Wild West Grill Fest" will give people one last chance to take over downtown Mandan at summer's end.  Grillers will be open from 11am until closing each day.  The grilling competition begins at 11am on Saturday with judging at 6pm.  There will be a chance for the public to vote on a People's Choice Award.  Winners will be announced Saturday night during the dance.  The winning griller receives a trophy. The event features live music, inflatable games for children, plus covered wagon, pony and helicopter rides along with art and craft vendors and a Pride of Dakota tent.  Entertainers take the stage and the beer garden opens at 1pm on Friday and noon on Saturday.

Red Trail Vineyard Hosts Wine Tasting, Live Music, Wagon Trail Rides, Vineyard Tours, Food and Craft Vendors, Beer and Wine Garden. and the 9th Annual "Grape Stomp Contest".


September 2-6, 2014  49th Annual Potato Bowl USA
Grand Forks, North Dakota
Potato Bowl USA is a weeklong festival teaming the University of North Dakota and the Red River Valley potato growing industry. It was created in 1965.  This week is filled with awesome events like the World's Largest French Fry Feed & Fireworks dispay on Thursday, along with a Potato Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Tailgate Party and University of North Dakota Football Game.

September 27, 2014  Giant Pumpkin Festival - Wallhalla, North Dakota
Giant pumpkin contest, farmers' market, games, pumpkin carving and more. Home of the biggest pumpkin in North Dakota.

September 30-October 4, 2014  Norsk Hostfest - Minot, North Dakota
North America's largest Scandinavian festival with crafts, folk dancing and lots of Nordic grub like klub (potato dumplings), ponnukokur (Icelandic pancakes) and lutefisk (pungent fish dish).

October 12-18, 2014  National Bulk Foods Week - Nationwide
The Bulk is Green Council (BIG).

October 13-17, 2014  National School Lunch Week - Nationwide

July 27-28, 2013  Cats Incredible 2013 - Grand Forks, North Dakota
Viewed as one of the best catfishing tournaments in the country, Cats Incredible draws in contestants from all over North America to compete for the top trophy.

September 20, 2013  Beerfest 2013 - Bismarck, North Dakota
A Bismarck-Mandan Beer Festival celebrating the diversity of products available.  This year's event will feature more than 30 different beer products sampled, brewmasters, and food provided by Cloverdale Foods.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Missouri Valley YMCA.

September 6-8, 2012  Lobster & Lefse Festival - Fargo, North Dakota
Outdoor festival featuring live music from 11 am to 11 pm. Seafood meals available including lobster and lefse! Coordinated by the Fargo-Moorhead Rotary Club, portions of the proceeds benefit the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and local Rotary projects.

November 29, 2012  Taste of North Dakota Holiday Open House - Jamestown, North Dakota
Held at the National Buffalo Museum. Features Pride of Dakota products, taste testing, Pride of Dakota vendors, gift baskets and a Holiday gift shop sale. The herd maintained by the museum includes a rare white buffalo. Jamestown is home to the "World's Largest Buffalo", a huge sculpture located in Frontier Village.
