February 14, 2013 Valentine's Day Most of the more than 1/2 million restaurants in the U.S. have special events scheduled for today. They are too numerous to list.
March 4-8, 2013 National School Breakfast Week 2013 - Nationwide National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) was launched in 1989 to raise awareness of the availability of the School Breakfast Program (SBP) to all children. Each year, the School Nutrition Association (SNA) helps schools to celebrate NSBW with a fun theme – this year it is School Breakfast--Go For The Gold.
March 5-10, 2013 North Dakota Winter Show - Valley City, North Dakota The North Dakota Winter Show Event Center is the home of the oldest and longest running Agriculture Show in the State of North Dakota. The North Dakota Winter Show is held annually in March and provides a great deal of agriculture information to participants of all ages. The NDWS attracts exhibitors and visitors from many states and Canada with attendance increasing each year. The mission of the North Dakota Winter Show is to provide an education for youth in the various segments of agri-business and to promote and expand agriculture through improved agriculture practices and techniques, and to honor our pioneer culture and heritages. We will also strive to establish a quality and entertaining learning experience for people of all ages.
March 19, 2013 'AgDay' National Agriculture Day - Nationwide National Ag Day is a day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture. Every year, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless other across America join together to recognize the contributions of agriculture.
April 22, 2013 Earth Day - Worldwide The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. The passage of the landmark Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and many other groundbreaking environmental laws soon followed. Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

June 13-15, 2013 Rip-Roarin' Ribfest - Bismarck, North Dakota The Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest is an annual Downtown event created to stimulate interest and excitement in the downtown area and bring our community together. Outstanding BBQ, Live Music, Kids Games, and more.
June 21-23, 2013 Lakota Turkey BBQ - Lakota, North Dakota The 51st annual turkey BBQ, including an open swim, variety/talent show, 5K race, parade, and golf tournament.
JULY 4, 2013 - There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.
July 19-27, 2013 North Dakota State Fair - Minot, North Dakota The fair offers a wide variety of agricultural exhibits, great entertainment lineup, carnival, and much more.
July 27-28, 2013 Cats Incredible 2013 - Grand Forks, North Dakota Viewed as one of the best catfishing tournaments in the country, Cats Incredible draws in contestants from all over North America to compete for the top trophy.
November 28, 2013 Thanksgiving Day - Nationwide All StatesThere are so many events on Thanksgiving Day they are to numerous to list. (4th Thursday in November).

June 7-10, 2012 23rd Annual Hawk Days Antique Farm Show - Wolford, North Dakota Steam engines, plowing and threshing displays all four days. Live music all day long.
June 8-9, 2012 40th Annual Irrigation Days - Oakes, North Dakota An annual community celebration with a parade, fireworks, street dance, buffalo feed, and many other activities.
July 27-29, 2012 Cats Incredible 2012 - Grand Forks, North Dakota Viewed as one of the best catfishing tournaments in the country, Cats Incredible draws in contestants from all over North America to compete for the top trophy. Also a chili cook-off, games for kids and live entertainment.
August 11, 2012 6th Annual Chokecherry Festival - Williston, North Dakota This fun-filled festival which kicks off with a pancake breakfast with chokecherry syrup. There is a 5k road race, a parade, special games, and family entertainment throughout the day. Also there are craft and food vendors in the park to add to the festivities.
August 17-18, 2012 Wild West Grill Grill Fest - Mandan, North Dakota in its third year, the 2012 "Wild West Grill Fest" will give people one last chance to take over downtown Mandan at summer's end. Grillers will be open from 11am until closing each day. The grilling competition begins at 11am on Saturday with judging at 6pm. There will be a chance for the public to vote on a People's Choice Award. Winners will be announced Saturday night during the dance. The winning griller receives a trophy. The event features live music, inflatable games for children, plus covered wagon, pony and helicopter rides along with art and craft vendors and a Pride of Dakota tent. Entertainers take the stage and the beer garden opens at 1pm on Friday and noon on Saturday.
August 18, 2012 North Dakota Grape Harvest Festival - Buffalo, North Dakota Red Trail Vineyard Hosts Wine Tasting, Live Music, Wagon Trail Rides, Vineyard Tours, Food and Craft Vendors, Beer and Wine Garden. and the 7th Annual "Grape Stomp Contest".
September 6-8, 2012 Lobster & Lefse Festival - Fargo, North Dakota Outdoor festival featuring live music from 11 am to 11 pm. Seafood meals available including lobster and lefse! Coordinated by the Fargo-Moorhead Rotary Club, portions of the proceeds benefit the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and local Rotary projects.
September 21, 2012 Beerfest 2012 - Bismarck, North Dakota A Bismarck-Mandan Beer Festival celebrating the diversity of products available. This year's event will feature more than 30 different beer products sampled, brewmasters, and food provided by Cloverdale Foods. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Missouri Valley YMCA.
September 25-29, 2012 35th Norsk Hostfest - Minot, North Dakota North America's largest Scandinavian festival with crafts, folk dancing and lots of Nordic grub like klub (potato dumplings), ponnukokur (Icelandic pancakes) and lutefisk (pungent fish dish).
September 29, 2012 Giant Pumpkin Festival - Wallhalla, North Dakota Giant pumpkin contest, farmers' market, games, pumpkin carving and more. Home of the biggest pumpkin in North Dakota.
November 29, 2012 Taste of North Dakota Holiday Open House - Jamestown, N. Dakota Held at the National Buffalo Museum. Features Pride of Dakota products, taste testing, Pride of Dakota vendors, gift baskets and a Holiday gift shop sale. The herd maintained by the museum includes a rare white buffalo. Jamestown is home to the "World's Largest Buffalo", a huge sculpture located in Frontier Village.

September 24, 2011 Applefest - Ellendale, North Dakota The 12th annual event will include: pancake breakfast, parade, art exhibit and craft sales, pie auction, paintball tournament, bingo, live music, St. Helena's Fall Turkey Supper, pickup pull and wild game feed.
