Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival
Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina
80,000 pounds of Oysters - The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the World’s Largest Oyster Festival and has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by Southeastern Tourism Society. Highlights include the legendary “Oyster Shucking” and “Oyster Eating” Contests, live music on the main stage, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a Children’s Area complete with pony rides and jump castles and a “Food Court” showcasing a variety of local favorite restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste.

Charleston, South Carolina
Charleston Wine + Food is a non-profit organization that celebrates the renowned food culture of Charleston, SC during a five-day festival the first weekend of every March. With a local food culture rich in tradition, James Beard Award-winning chefs, and the best city to visit in the world according to Condé Nast Traveler’s 2014 Readers’ Choice Awards, the festival infuses home-grown flavor with top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers and food enthusiasts.
