34th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival
Loris, South Carolina
Chicken bog is a pilau dish made of rice, chicken, celery, spices, and often sausage. Over 200 craft, retail, and food vendors, chicken bog cooking contest, live music, fireworks, children's pavilion and much more.  Come visit Loris for a day of fun.

49th Annual Chitlin' Strut
Salley, South Carolina
This internationally known festival in the quiet, Southern town of Salley, South Carolina (population 398) is held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Visitors converge on Salley to celebrate one of the more unusual food items available, chitterlings. Quite simply, chitterlings (or chitlin's) are fried pig intestines and have been a Southern tradition for over one-hundred years. Attendance: 25,000.
