Charleston Restaurant Week 2015
Charleston, South Carolina
The event, executed by the Charleston Restaurant Association (CRA), is one of the most highly anticipated culinary events in the Charleston area. It is an opportunity to enjoy the world-renowned cuisine of the Lowcountry as participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus consisting of three items for one price. 3 items for $20, $30 or $40.

January 10, 2015  Music and Oysters For Wildlife 2015
Awendaw, South Carolina
The oysters are the best ever and the music is as hot as those shellfish. An annual fundraiser for the Friends Group for the National Wildlife Refuges and Forest of coastal South Carolina.

 

January 17, 2015  World Beer Festival - Columbia 2015
Columbia, South Carolina
Presented by All About Beer Magazine, the World Beer Festivals are among the premier beer events in the country, with sampling of beers from over 100 breweries, education, and the best local music and food. Part of the proceeds will benefit a local cause.

January 25, 2015  Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival 2015
Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina
80,000 pounds of Oysters - The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the World’s Largest Oyster Festival and has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by Southeastern Tourism Society. Highlights include the legendary “Oyster Shucking” and “Oyster Eating” Contests, live music on the main stage, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a Children’s Area complete with pony rides and jump castles and a “Food Court” showcasing a variety of local favorite restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste.

The family-friendly event at Shelter Cove Community Park features area restaurants/chefs serving up seafood specialties and other tasty cuisine, live entertainment, a Kids Zone, a silent auction, an Iron Chef-style competition (Art of Cuisine), and more.  Sponsored by the David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation, helps raise money for the American Cancer Society, MD Anderson Cancer Research Center & Island Recreation Scholarship Fund.
