September 2-3, 2016  Annual Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) Conference Center & Surrounding Area of Market Common.  Back By Popular Demand! We will be bringing back sampling of BBQ on Saturday from 12-1:30 p.m. from the local and regional cook teams as they compete in South Carolina's Official BBQ Competition. !  Cook teams will be competing for over $8,600 in cash prizes and lots of bragging rights!   Live Entertainment both days.  BBQ Sandwiches, BBQ Combos and Ribs for sale Friday & Saturday.  Corn hole Tournament on Saturday managed by Coastal Tailgating. September 2-4, 2016  Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine Festival

Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association.  Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine And Spirits Festival.  Coastal Uncorked Restaurant Week.  The annual Coastal Uncorked festival will include the following festival events:  specialty wine, spirits and beer dinners, our signature culinary village and tasting tents complete with live music.

Irmo Okra StrutSeptember 23-24, 2016  43rd Annual Irmo Okra Strut Festival - Irmo, South Carolina
The festival is now a two day event featuring Okra Strut Parade, okra eating contest, a street dance, arts, crafts, rides, entertainment, and amusements, petting zoo, and plenty of food. September 24, 2016 - 13th Annual Irish Italian International Festival
North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Featuring food from local restaurants, two stages of live entertainment, street performers, art & craft vendors, and dance groups all surrounding an Irish Italian International theme. Restaurants will compete for the title of Best Entrée, Best Decorated, and Best Dessert.  Festival goers can join in friendly competitions from a spaghetti eating competition to a Lego contest!

Beaufort, South Carolina
This two-day festival is a celebration of SC Wild Caught Shrimp, local food and fun in the Lowcountry.   "Be ready to dance your shrimp tails off and come with an empty stomach”   Local restaurants will put their unique spins on fresh local shrimp, available to attendees, and will compete for the “Best Shrimp Dish" and "Best Booth Decoration" voted by a panel of judges, and the “People’s Choice”, chosen by festival attendees.  Alternative foods will be available for the shell-fish intolerant.  Also adults will be able to participate in a shrimp heading competition and children in a shrimp peeling competition for various prizes. LIve music.
