The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. The passage of the landmark Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and many other groundbreaking environmental laws soon followed. Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify.

May 18, 2013  Garden Festival - Cheyenne, Wyoming
Please come to the Laramie County Master Gardeners’ Garden Festival at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza!  Shop gardening related vendors and choose from vegetables, annual flowers, herbs, houseplants, and hardy perennials, trees and shrubs at our annual Plant Sale.

June 7-8, 2013  Lander Brew Fest - Lander, Wyoming
A celebration of a lot of great things in life: Lander, Wyoming, the finest brews from the best breweries in the Rocky Mountain West, foot stompin' music and the best time of year, summer! Be sure to bring your appetite because there'll be burgers, brats, pizza and lots more to keep your energy up for the day!

June 8, 2013  Union Wireless Peppers on the Plaza Chili Cook-Off
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Come on down and show us your skills in the red, green, and salsa categories as folks from far and near come to show off their recipes. Live music, Chili and Salsa tasting, Chili Roasters, Pepper Eating Contest, etc.

June 14-15, 2013  18th Annual Wyoming Brewers Festival - Cheyenne, Wyoming
The Wyoming Brewers Festival will be serving up two days of great fun, good beer and tasty food.  The festival will be at a new location, the Frontier Days Exhibit Hall.

June 21-23, 2013  Alpine Mountain Days  - Alpine, Wyoming
The 24th annual event will include fly fishing demonstrations, music, Morning Star Indian Dancers, children's activities and more!

June 22, 2013  Beer, Brats and Bluegrass Festival - Evanston, Wyoming
The Beer, Brats and Bluegrass festival is a free one day outdoor concert featuring four bands of varying musical styles from traditional and progressive bluegrass to Newgrass and will include artists, food and beverage booths.  The festival will also host a kid’s fest, "Pop, Dogs and Songs" from noon until 3pm prior to the main event. The kid's fest will introduce youngsters to bluegrass music and will incorporate fun games such as hula hooping, and activities such as shoebox banjo making.

July 13, 2013  Laramie Brewfest 2013 - Laramie, Wyoming
July in Wyoming means it’s Brewfest time! Snuggled smack dab in the middle of Jubilee Days, our statehood celebration, Laramie Brewfest is a not-to-be-missed Wyoming event. Come for the day, stay for the weekend and sample a smorgasbord of local and regional brews.

August 10-17, 2013  Wyoming State Fair - Douglas, Wyoming
100th Wyoming State Fair - This year's theme is "Buckles, Boots & Blue Ribbons"  A lot has changed in 100 years. It’s 4-H or FFA now, with the activities being participated in by boys and girls of all ages—learning to do things better and having had the opportunities to provide a solid foundation on which to base future learning.

August 16-18, 2013  Cheyenne Kiwanis Ribfest - Cheyenne, Wyoming
There will be three days of ribs, "best rib competition", rib cooks from around the country, live music everyday, fun for kids, motorcycle & car shows! Held at the Cheyenne Depot Museum Plaza.

August 17, 2013  10th Annual Taste of Wyoming Celebrity Chef Cook-off
Casper, Wyoming
The National Historic Trails Center Foundation's annual Taste of Wyoming Celebrity Chef Cook-off has become one of Casper's premier fundraising events. Taking place on Saturday, August 17 at 6pm. it will be held in a tent outside the Trails Center, which features fabulous panoramic views of the city. Guests will enjoy a fun evening of spirits, culinary delights courtesy of Casper's finest chefs, live entertainment and fabulous silent and live auction items.

August 17, 2013  Steinley Cup Microbrew Festival - Saratoga, Wyoming
Held on the third full weekend of August on Veteran’s Island in Saratoga, Wyoming. The microbrewery competition brings together the top professional microbreweries in Wyoming in search of the coveted Saratoga Steinley Cup traveling trophy and is Wyoming’s original and only official microbrewery competition. Live music and great eats complete the event.

December 6, 2013  19th Annual Wreath & Chocolate Auction - Pinedale, Wyoming
A major fundraiser for the Museum of the Mountain Man. Community members donate custom-made wreaths and wonderful chocolate delights. Refreshments served.

July 12-14, 2012  Sheridan WYO Rodeo Boot Kick-Off & BBQ - Sheridan, Wyoming
This event has grown to be, well, too big for its boots! Fun for the entire family, with prizes awarded to the furthest boots kicked.

July 14, 2012  4th Annual Boomerang Chili Cook-Off - Laramie, Wyoming
Held in downtown Laramie. Awards for People's Choice, Showmanship, Best Green Chili and Best Red Chili. Benefits the Ray Cancer Center & Hospice of Laramie.

September 9, 2012  Taste of the Tetons - Jackson, Wyoming
Valley chefs, restaurants and caterers put their best culinary work on display for sampling. Also enjoy a wine tasting, silent auction, and "Pickin' in the Park" musical entertainment by the Jackson Hole Cowboy Jubilee while you're enjoying culinary creations.

Circle up--chuck wagon dinner and show held at the preserved 1872 homestead cabin in downtown Dubois. Held every Monday & Thursday evening beginning June 17 and running through August 19.

This year we will not be having the Wine Tasting, instead, we will have entertainment, cash bar and food specially made with ingredients from Thermopolis and the Big Horn Basin by Incredible Edibles of Thermopolis.
