Stone Hill Winery. Guests may stomp to the upbeat folk sounds of live music or sit on the hill and cheer for the stompers. Stompers are judged on the amount of juice produced and on 'stomping style,' which includes some wild and crazy costumes and stomping techniques. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of each age category.

The competition will be sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society and will feature some the top BBQ chefs in the Midwest. Categories will include chicken, ribs, pork shoulder, beef brisket, bratwurst, and BBQ sauce made with Hermann wine. There will be $4000 in cash prizes, a Mayor's Award of Showmanship and a Best of Bratwurst people's choice event. Also a Backyard Chef event, featuring categories for pork steaks and pork ribs. Live entertainment, a wine and beer garden, and a variety of other booths and activities.
