April 1, 2023  Annual Ozarks Beerfest - Springfield, Missouri
At the Springfield Expo Center. Anyone 21 and older is invited to attend this laid-back event full of music, food from favorite area restaurants, and of course, samples of unique beers from microbreweries and distributors from across the Midwest.   Tickets go on sale November 1st.  All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.

April 15-16, 2023  Big Bass Bash Fishing Tournament
Spring - Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri
The Big Bass Bash on the Lake of the Ozarks has grown to become one of the Midwest's largest amateur bass fishing tournaments. More than $250,000 in cash prizes, including a grand prize of $100,000 to the angler who hauls in the heaviest bass of the weekend.

School Nutrition Association.  'Make the Grade with School Breakfast.'

March 26-27, 2022  41st Annual Hermann Wurstfest
Hermann, Missouri
A citywide celebration of the traditional art of German sausage making. Sausage competitions, sausage samples and sausage-making demonstrations! Freshly grilled brats available in our Pavilion.

April 2-3, 2022 - Show-Me Gourd Society Art Festival
Springfield, Missouri
Celebrate the wonderful opportunity to get back together again with friends and fellow Gourdheads. Gourd workshops will be scheduled all weekend starting on Friday. Artists are invited to enter gourds, either crafted or raw. On Saturday and Sunday, the festival is open to the public. Trained judges select the best gourds in each class. Ribbons are awarded for first, second, and third place. Special awards and certificates are also given.


April 22, 2022  Earth Day - Worldwide
More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

March 26-27, 2022  Annual Hermann Maifest - Hermann, Missouri
One of Missouri’s oldest German festivals. Maifest is an old-fashioned German celebration of spring, with German music, dancing and food, parades, crafters, Maypole dancers, children’s games, and beer gardens.  Held each year the third weekend of May.

April 28-30, 2022  Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival
Marshfield, Missouri
Japanese lantern lighting, annual cherry pie baking contest, musical entertainment, craft & food booths, and lectures. The Cherry Blossom Festival is open to the public and all events that do not include food are free.

March 14, 2020 - West Plains BrewFest - West Plains, Missouri
Beer, Wine, Adult Beverage, and Food Tasting: West Plains BrewFest at the West Plains Civic Center is a fun way to sample a variety of craft beers and locally prepared hors d'oeuvres in a casual atmosphere.  Brewery representatives will serve and discuss their products. Proceeds are used to award the annual Gatewood Family Fine Arts Scholarship to a local graduating high school senior, and to promote the arts in the West Plains area.

Our mission is to operate and promote the premiere barbeque fundraiser of Mid-Missouri. This is the opening of the social season for Jefferson City, with all proceeds supporting the Special Learning Center.  Thank you to the teams, sponsors and supporters that joined us for the Annual Buck-A-Bone Competition & Fundraiser last year.  On behalf of the Capital City Cook-Off committee and the Special Learning Center, we sincerely appreciate your support and contributions.

April 25-27, 2019  20th Annual Rock'n Ribs BBQ Festival
Springfield, Missouri
Benefits 7 Local Children’s Charities.  80 teams come together to compete for the best Barbeque in a “Kansas City BBQ Society” Sanctioned event. Starting at 1:00, enjoy chicken, pork and beef. 11 hours of Live Music, a Kids Play Zone, Motorcycle Show and of course… plenty of Food and Drinks.

March 3, 2018  Hope Lutheran Church Chili Cook-off
St. Charles, Missouri
Get those crock-pots hot, the bread in the oven and tasty desserts ready.  It’s time for Hope’s annual Chili cook-off!  Who will get the opportunity to display the amazing trophy for a whole year on their mantel? Come join us to find out.  It promises to be a fun filled evening of chili eating (don’t forget those muffin tins so you can sample a variety in one sitting), followed by awesome performances from our very own talent at Hope Lutheran Church!

April 20, 2018  Earth Day Bike Tour Happy Hour - Kansas City, Missouri
This event will be held in the Beanstalk Children’s Garden at the Kansas City Community Gardens Headquarters in Swope Park. A ticket will get you unlimited beer while you enjoy activities in the garden! KCCG is partnering with BikeWalk KC to host a Happy Hour in the Gardens that will feature a Garden Tour Bike Ride.  Proceeds from the Happy Hour in the Gardens events will go towards KCCG’s mission to empower low-income families to grow their own nutritious food.

April 21, 2018  10th Annual Pierce City Arts Festival and Wine Tasting
Pierce City, Missouri
Wine tasting inside the wine garden from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Keltoi Winery.  About 30 fine arts booths as well as live music, free art workshops, free root beer floats (1 per person at 1 p.m.), kettle corn and bratwurst, and more!  Free PCAC Kids & Teens Art, free chalk drawing.  Fine art workshops by professional artists (children must be accompanied by an adult).  RAIN OR SHINE!
