America's Oldest Wing Festival.  Sample wings from local restaurants at the Annual Springfield Sertoma Wingapalooza. The Ozark's annual Charity Wing Contest.

November 19, 2016
Annual Ozarks Beerfest
Springfield, Missouri
At the Springfield Expo Center. Anyone 21 and older is invited to attend this laid-back event full of music, food from favorite area restaurants, and of course, samples of unique beers from microbreweries and distributors from across the Midwest.   Tickets go on sale November 1st.  All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.

November 19-20, 2016  Holiday Fare Wine Trail - Hermann, Missouri
When new wines are cellared for a long winter’s nap and the larder is full of harvest bounty, the mood turns festive along the Hermann Wine Trail. The Holiday Fare Wine Trail is an annual celebration of good food and good wine, shared with family and friends.

December 2-3, 2016  Missouri Livestock Symposium - Kirksville, Missouri
An educational program for those interested in horses, beef cattle, sheep, meat goats, forages, stock dogs, or other agriculturally related topics or products, featuring nationally known speakers, and a trade show.

December 2-4, 2016 - Kimmswick Christmas Cookie Walk
Kimmswick, Missouri
4th Annual Christmas Cookie Walk.  Come to Kimmswick and stop by the Visitor Center to purchase your Kimmswick Christmas Cookie Cookbook for $22.00 filled with a favorite cookie reciepe from each participating shop in Kimmswick. Then take your goodie bag from shop to shop and receive a cookie made from each of the recipies for you to sample. This has quickly became a favorite event during our Christmas in Kimmswick Celebration so be sure to get your tickets early.

December 2-9, 2016  34th Annual Candlelight Christmas Walk
Augusta, Missouri
Experience the spirit of an old-fashioned ‘Norman Rockwell-feeling’ Christmas in historic Augusta, Missouri. Visit with Santa Claus in the Olde Wine Hall! Settle under a blanket and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, then warm yourself ‘round the bonfire at the old town square while savoring freshly-roasted chestnuts. Afterwards, enjoy Christmas Caroling in the Historic church. There will be a town scavenger hunt with prizes.  Enjoy delicious food and holiday spirits at local Restaurants, Wineries, the Brewery and Churches.

A worldwide celebration of local food held every year on December 10. Through hundreds of diverse and unique events across the globe, together we show that a global food revolution grows from local roots.

December 10-11, 2016  Say Cheese Wine Trail - Hermann, Missouri
Sip and sample wine and cheese pairings, from the classic to the creative. Held annually the second weekend of December, this event coincides Hermann’s popular Kristkindl Markt, an Old-World holiday market.

Platte City, Missouri

November 7, 2014  Empty Bowls - Springfield, Missouri
Ozarks Food Harvest and Panera Bread are hosting an Empty Bowls event during November’s First Friday Art Walk. The idea is to help raise awareness of hunger in the Ozarks by purchasing a bowl created by a “local artist,” which represents the thousands of empty bowls on dinner tables across southwest Missouri.

November 8, 2014  First Annual Ballpark Village Brew Fest by Budweiser
St. Louis, Missouri
A celebration of all things beer featuring the area’s finest home brewers and unique Anheuser-Busch brand experiences. The event will take place both inside and outside of the Ballpark Village complex. There will be live brewing demonstrations and brewing lectures/classes, live music by popular local bands Unifyah and Dogtown Allstars, home brew sampling from seven local home brew clubs, home brew single style beer competition, Budweiser mobile Beer Garden Experience, Goose Island Mobile unit, Clydesdale photo op, and food trucks. 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

November 15, 2008  Corks for Quest Wine Event
Rochester Hills, Missouri
The cost to register for this event is $125 per person and it includes a strolling dinner, a sampling of over 70 different wines, a chance to wine some fabulous prizes including trips to Chicago and around Michigan, and an opportunity to buy over 60 different types of wines.  All proceeds benefit Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis research at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
