National Ag Day is a day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture. Every year, producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless other across America join together to recognize the contributions of agriculture.

April 22, 2014  Earth Day - Worldwide
The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, activated 20 million Americans from all walks of life and is widely credited with launching the modern environmental movement. The passage of the landmark Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and many other groundbreaking environmental laws soon followed. Growing out of the first Earth Day, Earth Day Network (EDN) works with over 22,000 partners in 192 countries to broaden, diversify and mobilize the environmental movement. More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world.

March 2, 2013  Wine and Food Festival 2013 - Great Falls, Montana
An evening of sampling over 100 wines and beers, and food from the Montana area.


March 15-16, 2013  Northeast Montana Farm Expo - Plentywood, Montana
Each year KATQ Radio sponsors its annual Farm Expo, bringing in agricultural exhibits from Montana, various other northern states and Canada. Educational seminars daily. Friday morning join us for the Farm and Ranch Appreciation Breakfast. The Friday night’s banquet includes a featured guest speaker.
