International Eelpout Festival
Leech Lake, Walker, Minnesota
The Annual International Eelpout Festival, held at Chase on the Lake on Leech Lake, is a tradition centered on catching one of the ugliest of bottom-dwelling fish, the Eelpout! The International Eelpout Festival attracts roughly 10,000 participants and visitors each year, drawing national interest. In addition to thousands of dollars in prizes, enjoy Opening Ceremonies at Coors Keg Castle Tent, live music, DJ dance parties, refreshments at the Chase Big Top Tent, eelpout fish fry, mechanical bull riding, contests, and more!  Attendance: 10,000.
 

March 3, 2018  Schell's Bock Fest
New Ulm, Minnesota
Come join us for the premier winter festival in the Midwest! Sing and dance your heart out at this outdoor festival in the shadow of the brewery!  Bock Fest is an all-outdoor event on the grounds of Schell's Brewery with Schells beer, brats, live music, a warm fire, and the release of the seasonal Bock beer. Admission is $10 for this 21+ event!
 

May 11-13, 2018  Shepherds Harvest Festival - Lake Elmo, Minnesota
Come experience Minnesota's largest Sheep and Wool Festival. Shop an outstanding array of over 100 vendors, choose from a full range of classes or just enjoy the many breeds of sheep, goat, llama and alpaca on display. Discover fibers, yarns, weavers, spinning wheels, potters and cheese makers from our Midwestern countryside. A great family event. Admission is $5. Parking is free.
