21st Annual Rhubarb Frenzy!
Chisago City, Minnesota
The secret's out! WineHaven's rhubarb makes fantastic wine! Be the first to sample the new batches of Rhubarb and Strawberry-Rhubarb Wine. We'll have hourly tours and lunch at the vineyard from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday. There is no fee for admission and reservations are not required. Bring your friends!
July 29, 2017 All Pints North Summer Brew Fest - Duluth, Minnesota

Today's wild rice festivals sponsored by the Deer River Lions Club feature a full schedule of activities designed to bring the whole Deer River Area Community together for a weekend of fun, food, entertainment, and fellowship. Whether you are young or old, there is always something to see and do at the festival.
July 9, 2016 The Great Minnesota Pie Extravaganza
Grand Rapids, Minnesota
A good cook and plenty of food held a logging camp together. While meat, potatoes, and beans were the cook shack staples, it was the pies the men loved most. Held at the Forest History Center, this event allows visitors to contrast pies served in the logging camps with modern day creations.

Burying of the Beans Ceremony is held every July. The beans, prepared by secret recipe behind locked doors, are buried in huge cast iron kettles and cooked over a wood fire for 24 hours.
July 14, 2016 54th Annual Hot Dog Nite - Luverne, Minnesota
10,000 FREE Hot Dogs and beverage given away by Luverne Area Chamber Members from 5:30 pm until gone. Annual Wienerman Triathlon challenges athletes to run, bike, and eat hot dogs on their way to the finish line ....begins at 7 pm. 8th Annual Wiener Dog Beauty Contest and Wiener Dog Race on Main Street beginning at 7:15 pm. Live music and beer garden on Main.
July 15-17, 2016 9th Annual Middle Eastern Festival
West St. Paul, Minnesota
St. George Church. Highlights include Middle Eastern cuisine, live entertainment, a traditional marketplace, games for children and camel rides. Admission is free. The menu includes: roast lamb on the spit, chicken kabobs, kafta, falafel, hummus, gyros, tabouli, delicious pastries and the church's famous Syrian bread. Beer, wine and soft drinks will also be served. The John Khoury Band will play and the church's dance group will perform the traditional Dabke dance.
July 16, 2016 Bread Making Day - Preston, Minnesota
Historic Forestville in Preston. Bread is the staff of life and is the most widely consumed food in the world. Step back into 1899 and observe costumed guides as they complete the weekly task of bread making. Nineteenth-century techniques of bread making will be showcased with opportunities for hands on participation. Bread-making process from start to finish is an all-day event with the mixing beginning at 10 a.m. and the finished product coming out of the oven around 3 p.m.

In addition to delicious ribs, there will be a variety of arts and craft vendors, live music, children’s activities, parades, Native American dancers, a tug of war contest, beer tent, the Cass Lake Idol and Talent Show, and a Poetry Slam!

July 30, 2016 Butter Making Day - Preston, Minnesota
Historic Forestville in Preston. Butter has been used for more than 4,000 years. For many years, butter was only produced in the home. During the 19th century, many farm wives supplemented farm income by selling butter. They churned every day or so, or whenever enough cream had accumulated. Step back into 1899 and observe costumed guides as they complete the weekly task of butter churning. Nineteenth-century traditional techniques of churning will be showcased with opportunities for hands on participation.

Grand Marais, Minnesota
This is way more than just shore lunch! It’s the Annual Fisherman’s Picnic and downtown Grand Marais is filled with visitors, crazy days sales, craft show, daily contests and prizes, live music, kids activities, and so much more! Fireworks on Saturday night and Parade on Sunday afternoon! The Lions Club BIG raffle includes a grand prize of $10,000 and lots of other great prizes for $5.00 a ticket. The Big Fish contest offers prizes in six categories. There is more fun competition with Tennis and Softball Tournaments, the Trail Run and Professional Log Rolling Tournament.
