We are excited to be back for the Twin Cities Oktoberfest in the Historic Progress Center building on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds!  New for 2021: we will be featuring beer, cider & wine from 5 great Minnesota Breweries, Cideries & Wineries.  Drink Local. Eat Local. Support Local. Fest Local.

October 7, 2023  3rd Annual Atwater Oktoberfest - Atwater, Minnesota
Activities include a Kids Color Fun Run/Walk, a Kickball Tournament, Bean Bags, Axe Throwing, Hayrides, Craft Vendors, Lots of Delicious Food & Music, Outdoor Kid’s Movie and a street dance!  11am - 11:30pm.

Aurora's Pumpkinfest, held annually in October, attracts both young and old to it's craft displays, quilt show, children's activities and variety of tasty food.  Stagecoach rides and a great clown are only part of the entertainment during this harvest-time event.

Minneapolis, Minnesota
This annual outdoor fall festival is one of the biggest beer festivals in the state, with 100+ breweries from all over the U.S. entertaining and educating 3,000 attendees on the great craft beer brewed in this state and beyond. ABR also has live music and food trucks to enhance the lively atmosphere brought by attendees at this Minneapolis favorite.

The grape harvest is now over and the new wines are quietly maturing in our stainless steel tanks. During this special weekend, Winehaven will be embracing the German tradition of inviting guests to sample the new wine – directly from the cask! It's not juice anymore, but it's not finished wine either. Whatever it is, it's delicious!

October 2, 2022  Smaczne Jablka - Winona, Minnesota
Polish Cultural Institute and Museum.  Smaczne Jablka (Tasty Apple Festival) from 10:00 to 5:00 at the Museum.  Activities for the entire family. Greeters in authentic Polish folk costumes, live music including a polka band, international dancers from Winona to perform Polish folk dances at 2:00, wagon rides for the children, face painting, pumpkin painting.  Food menu: pierogi, golabki (cabbage rolls) kielbasa, grits and baloney, Polish rye bread, poppy seed coffee cake, paczki (jelly-filled donuts) and all things apple – apple pie, apple crisp, apple juice, fresh apples and more. Zywiec Polish beer.

October 7-8, 2022  Fall Flower Show - St. Paul, Minnesota
While many Minnesota gardens are winding down for the winter season, the Sunken Garden at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will be in full bloom! The Fall Flower Show features a variety of chrysanthemums. The colors for the show are red,maroon, gold, yellow and purple. Swiss chard and chilly chili peppers will serve to accentuate the red and yellow chrysanthemums.

October 4-6, 2019 - Excelsior Docktoberfest - Excelsior, Minnesota
Docktoberfest is an annual celebration of the ritualistic harvesting of the docks—that time of year when we say “see ya later” to summer and bring the docks ashore. Heavy from a season of soaking up fun (and water), hauling them in can be hard work! So we celebrate these docks, and those who harvest them, in a party of pierless proportions.  As the tradition calls for, there will be refreshing season brews, delicious food and fare, live music and authentic Docktoberfest bar games. Most importantly, it’s a time of year when a community can come together to drink while we dry, and have a great time doing it.
