90th Annual Geauga County Maple Festival
The festival celebrates the production of maple syrup, a leading agricultural industry in Northern Ohio. Events include two grand parades, maple syrup judging & auction, queen's contest, photo contest, "Sap Run", bathtub races, craft show, concessions, rides, and continuous grandstand entertainment.
May 25-27, 2019
41st Annual Taste of Cincinnati USA
Memorial Day weekend in downtown Cincinnati. Started in 1979, it is now the nation's longest running culinary arts festival, featuring more than 40 fine restaurants serving up delicious and delectable menu items. Menu items are previewed and judged for prestigious Best of Taste Awards. This is also a music festival, with continuous live entertainment featuring local and national recording stars performing on multiple stages throughout the event. Attendance: 500,000.
June 1-2, 2019
Troy Strawberry Festival
Troy celebrates its place as the center of Ohio's strawberry production the first weekend of June. Featured are the strawberries, of course, and they come in all sorts of taste-tempting treats from shortcake to donuts to strawberry pie. Also to be enjoyed are the many arts and crafts booths, the athletic competitions, and the entertainment. One of the largest and best-attended festivals in the Midwest. Attendance: 150,000.
