November 2-3, 2012  Heinen’s / WVIZ World Series of Wine - Cleveland, Ohio
This year’s spectacular wine weekend is the largest wine event of its kind in Northern Ohio. Sip, sample and travel through an alluring variety of 450 domestic and international wines from over 150 fine wineries. You will also have the unique opportunity to sample award-winning wines from the 3rd Annual Heinen’s/WVIZ World Series of Wine competition.

November 6-8, 2012  Safe Quality Food International Conference - Cincinnati, Ohio
The conference is your opportunity to enhance your food safety and food quality assurance programs. It will introduce attendees to new technologies, tools and potential partners to further increase their ability to protect their customers, branding and bottom line.

November 9-11, 2012  Fabulous Food Show - Cleveland, Ohio
Indulge your senses from over 100 live educational presentations by renowned culinary experts, scheduled across 6 stages, in just 3 days.  Hundreds of exhibitors in the Market Place;  Grand Tasting Pavilion: sample from over 300 wines, spirits and specialty beers and tips from world-renowned mixologists.

December 2-3, 2012  Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns - Holmes County, Ohio
Spend either Sunday or Monday afternoon partaking in the merry festivities of the Christmas season. Visit several of Amish Country's finest inns and enjoy tours, music and demonstrations. Benefits local charities.

December 31, 2012  Annual Walleye Madness at Midnight - Port Clinton, Ohio
Port Clinton, the "Walleye Capital of the World" celebrates the New Year as a 20-foot, 600 pound fiberglass walleye drops from a crane at the stroke of Midnight. Live entertainment and street vendors.

December 31, 2012  First Night Marion Popcorn Pop n' Drop - Marion, Ohio
Everyone gathers in Busby Park to party and watch the giant popcorn ball drop at midnight. Music and various events throughout the evening.

The Grand Tastings, Wine Tasting Seminars, and opulent Winery Dinners make the World Series of Wine “a benchmark” against which all other wine tastings in the region are measured.

November 30-Dec 4, 2011  36th Annual Madrigal Feaste - Ashland, Ohio
Ashland University Department of Music invites everyone to celebrate the holiday at its annual dinner theatre based on the period of Queen Elizabeth I of England around 1600. Authentic costumes, Christmas music, and a four-course meal culminating in flaming bread pudding.

November 14, 2010  Bake-off for the Homeless - Columbus, Ohio   (no website)
Having a baking competition for the homeless, contestants must bake one dish from the cooking genes, include breakfast, lunch,, dinner, and dessert. The date of the event is not offical yet , all proceeds are going to Faith Mission Homeless Shelter in Columbus, Ohio.
