November 11-15, 2014 148th Annual National Grange Convention
Founded in 1867, the Grange was formed as a national organization with a local focus. Our members are given the opportunity to learn and grow to their full potential as citizens and leaders. Convention is open to the public for most events, however the Seventh Degree conferral ceremony and the opening of the convention are limited to only Grange members. Convention consists of daily sessions, committee meetings, workshops, a store, and an idea fair exhibit. Daily Grange Youth activities, Junior Grange activities, and activities for non-delegates. Convention sites are rotated around the country among the five Grange regions.

November 19-23, 2014 39th Annual Madrigal Feaste - Ashland, Ohio
A dinner theater based in sixteenth-century England, the Madrigal Feaste provides constant entertainment throughout the evening. The Ashland University Chamber Singers perform ceremonial music, Christmas carols, and madrigals while the Players present a new comedic play along with improvisational theatrics. Fanfare trumpeters, the Court Jester, and Butler round out the cast. Performer costumes are designed as authentic reproductions of period apparel, and the four-course meal culminates in flaming bread pudding, a traditional dessert. Vegetarian meals are available upon request at the time of purchase.

Having a baking competition for the homeless, contestants must bake one dish from the cooking genes, include breakfast, lunch,, dinner, and dessert. The date of the event is not offical yet , all proceeds are going to Faith Mission Homeless Shelter in Columbus, Ohio.
