August 1-2, 2014 Canal Winchester Blues & Ribfest - Central Ohio, Ohio
As central Ohio's only all-Blues & Rib-themed festival, this event draws serious rib and blues aficionados from around the state. Sizzling hot ribs and authentic live blues are served up on the streets of historic downtown Canal Winchester Ohio. Fun activities for children and a wine/beer garden for our Blues and Rib lovers over 21 years old will be available.
August 1-2, 2014 20th Vintage Ohio Wine Festival - Lake County, Ohio
Vintage Ohio is a two-day festival in Lake County, Ohio which will feature Ohio wineries, many food vendors, arts and music. Wine will be available to taste, by the glass and by the bottle. There is a designated driver program and all ages are welcome.
August 7-10, 2014 Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Show
Antique/craft/flea market, 4 parades, tractors, engines & equipment, Sunday antique car show, camping & RV sites, baby costume contest, entertainment, antique and garden tractor pulls, covered bridge, log cabin livin’, threshing, sawmill, rock crushing, canning, broom making, grist mill, block making, shingle mill, blacksmith, etc.
August 8, 2014 Gala Gourmet Food & Wine Event - Tiffin, Ohio
The Gala is a gourmet food and wine event that benefits the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center and Seeds of Hope Farm in Tiffin. The event celebrates local and seasonal cuisine by featuring the chemical-free, fresh produce, herbs, poultry and eggs from Seeds of Hope Farm. Chefs representing area restaurants and businesses from northwest Ohio and around the country participate in the Gala. Each chef plans his or her menu based on the available produce and other seasonal items from the Farm.

August 8-10, 2014 North Ridgeville Corn Festival - North Ridgeville, Ohio
The 40th festival will feature Sweet's corn steamed or roasted. Enjoy musical entertainment, parade, arts and crafts show, amusement rides, games, food, corn eating contest, 5 & 10k run, car show and horseshoe tournament.
August 8-10, 2014 Huron Rotary Fine Art & Food Festival - Huron, Ohio
An array of gourmet food trucks are featured this year, each with its own a unique and specialized choice of cuisine. Expect great music again in the spacious boat basin amphitheater. The artists will display their work during festival hours, Friday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Judging will take place on Saturday morning with many artists donating fine art to be raffled off to lucky ticket holders on Sunday between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. (also: www.huronrotary.org/ )

August 10, 2014 25th Festival of India - Toledo, Ohio
This year's theme: The Big Fat Indian Wedding. The Hindu Temple of India hosts the annual event with Indian food, desserts, dances, a fashion show, live music, costumes, jewelry, cooking demos, bridal dresses, henna, children's activities, cultural programs and much more.

Held in celebration of Reynoldsburg's claim as "birthplace of the commercial tomato". Festival-goers enjoy tomato displays and contests, consessions, arts and crafts exhibits, live musical entertainment, children's activities, and the opportunity to meet the friendly people of Reynoldsburg. Attendance: 35,000.

The theme for 2014 will be "Follow the Yellow Corn Road". Among the activities will be a parade, car show, corn hole tournament, and entertainment on Saturday night.
