June 1, 2012 Newark Strawberry Festival - Newark, Ohio
The 29th annual event will include entertainment throughout the weekend, Miss Strawberry Pageant, midway rides, food and craft vendors of all types, and of course our "world famous" Kiwanis Strawberry Shortcake.
June 1-2, 2012 Gold Wings and Ribs Fest - Pomeroy, Ohio
Motorcycles, Entertainment and Food lead the way to the beautiful Ohio River. Entertainment, motorcycle tours, motorcycle light parades, bike dealers, Art in the Park, cookie stacking, hotdog eating & BBQ Hog Callin contests & power boat racing.
June 2-3, 2012 Troy Strawberry Festival - Troy, Ohio
Troy celebrates its place as the center of Ohio's strawberry production the first weekend of June. Featured are the strawberries, of course, and they come in all sorts of taste-tempting treats from shortcake to donuts to strawberry pie. Also to be enjoyed are the many arts and crafts booths, the athletic competitions, and the entertainment. One of the largest and best-attended festivals in the Midwest. Attendance: 150,000.
June 7-9, 2012 Bolivar Strawberry Festival - Bolivar, Ohio
Activities include pageants, strawberry eating contest, rides, entertainment, brew tent, crafters, food and the Fireman's Parade that tops off the festival to make it a "Berry" great experience for the whole family. Father's day weekend in June each year.
June 8-9, 2012 Brick Street BBQ - Marietta, Ohio
Held in historic downtown Marietta, the event will draw competitors from all over the country for a chance to win over $10,000 in prize monies, presented by Miss Brick Street BBQ! Other activities include auto and motorcycle tours, Moustache King competition, kids zone, and local live music.
June 8-9, 2012 Banana Split Festival - Wilmington, Ohio
Celebrating Wilmington's claim as the birthplace of the Banana Split in 1907. Music, car show, crafts, games, etc.
June 8-10, 2012 Versailles Poultry Days - Versailles, Ohio
The 61st annual event will have chicken dinners, entertainment, Miss Chick and Little Miss Poultry Days contests, rides and games for all ages, two parades, kiddie tractor pull, 5K Run, arts, crafts, flower, and photography shows, and the greatest Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in the world! Attendance: 25,000.
June 8-10, 2012 48th Strawberry Festival - Bedford, Ohio
Presented by the Bedford Historical Society, the festival will offer plenty of berries with ice cream, entertainment, and a classic car show.
June 13-17, 2012 Holland Strawberry Festival - Holland, Ohio
2012 marks our 74th year!
June 15-17, 2012 Festival of the Fish - Vermillion, Ohio
A reunion of family & friends. Come join us for our 45th year. We feature daily entertainment, fresh Lake Erie perch sandwiches, kid's games, food & craft booths, and parade, lighted boat parade, sand castle building contest, crazy craft races, and queen's pageant.
June 15-17, 2012 52nd Annual Kirtland Kiwanis Strawberry Festival - Kirtland, Ohio
Some of the events and activities include a food court featuring strawberry shortcakes, a strawberry pie contest, Miss Kirtland contest, rides, flea market and a parade.
June 21-23, 2012 London Strawberry Festival - London, Ohio
The community is to be decorated in a strawberry theme. Event includes a strawberry shortcake tent, parade, nightly entertainment, and a car show benefiting Cystic Fibrosis.
June 22-30, 2012 7th Ohio Brew Week Festival - Athens, Ohio
Ohio Brew Week celebrates Ohio's diverse microbrews during the weeklong festival. You can enjoy more than 100 craft beers from 29 Ohio microbreweries. Events include craft brew cooking competition, Brew BQ Cookoff, homebrew competition, and Boogie on the Bricks.
June 23-24, 2012 Lake Erie Wine Fest - Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio
The Lake Erie Wine Fest pairs the finest wines Ohio has to offer with the stunning Lake Erie shoreline. Wine, food, live music, crafters and vendor, and demonstrations are just some of the unbelieveable things you will find at this amazing summer festival.
