October 5-7, 2018  Ozark Fall FarmFest - Springfield, Missouri
One of the largest agricultural trade shows in the Midwest, the annual Farmfest offers over 750 booths of products and services for the farm and ranch as well as more than 500 head of purebred livestock on display.

October 6, 2018 - Annual Augusta Bottoms Beer Festival
Augusta, Missouri
The festival seeks to promote Microbreweries by creating a great afternoon of beer tasting, live music and food.

October 6, 2018  Annual Missouri Chestnut Roast
New Franklin, Missouri
Thousands of festival visitors each year enjoy samples of roasted chestnuts. Hosted by the MU Horticulture & Agroforestry Research Center, the event is an opportunity to introduce landowners to the benefits of implementing agroforestry practices on their land. There are cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment and chestnut products available to buy.

Springfield, Missouri
The Wine & Food Celebration returns to the White River Conference Center this year from 2 to 5 pm. Over the past 30 years, this event has expanded to now include hundreds of wines, delicious food from Springfield’s finest restaurants, craft beer and specialty cocktails. Attending the Wine & Food Celebration is a great way to have a memorable, fun-filled, delicious day and support Ozarks Public Television at the same time! All proceeds benefit educational children’s programming.

The Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival began in 1991 as a celebration of the pumpkin and the promotion for the village of Hartsburg. In those days, and to the present, Hartsburg was known as “The Garden Spot of Boone County.” That rich Missouri River bottom soil produces unique and bountiful harvests of grains, grasses, fruits, and vegetables.

National brands, artisan bacon-makers, and bacon purveyors display, sample, and sell a multitude of bacon and bacon inspired products. The best mixologists and brewers hand out bacon-inspired cocktails, beer and wine. And in honoring bacon in all its glory, Ozarks Bacon Fest will be holding a Bacon Eating Contest, a Best Bacon Recipe contest and a Bacon Art contest. (also: )

October 27-28, 2018  Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival
Kimmswick, Missouri
Come enjoy the small town ambience and stroll through our streets lined with 500 to 600 food, drink and craft vendors. Visitors are encouraged to help members of the Historical Society stir the apple butter cooking over a woodburning fire. Apple butter is for sale each day. Also enjoy lots of live entertainment throughout the town.  Attendance: 100,000.

Springfield, Missouri
Springfield's premier culinary event features local restaurants, beer sampling, booths for specialty vendors and local music. This event is in the heart of Springfield’s entertainment district with more than 40 restaurants and 20 nightclubs within walking distance.

October 8, 2014  American Royal WINE Competition
Kansas City, Missouri
(Grapes and Steaks Competition)  Wine producers from across the country are invited to submit their best vintages for blind judging in 10 different categories.  The winners in each category are then judged and the American Royal Grand Champion Red and White Wines are crowned.  Categories include sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, white blend, other white varietals, merlot, zinfandel, pinot noir, red blend, cabernet sauvignon and other red varietals.  The judging is held during the month of August at a local winery. Judges are chosen based on their expertise and experience, and come from a cross section of the wine and food industries.

October 25, 2014  5th Annual Missouri Wine & Food Festival
Branson, Missouri
CANCELED FOR 2014.  The City of Branson informed us that they will no longer allow us to use Vinyl banners to advertise our festival.  This being our most effective method for intercepting visitors, at this point we must cancel "Branson's Largest Annual Food Event" for 2014.  Thank you all for supporting our Festival.

October 3-6, 2013  American Royal World Series of Barbecue
Kansas City, Missouri
The American Royal Barbecue is the opening event of the American Royal and the season finale for the competitive circuit. Spreading over 20 acres in Kansas City’s historic Stockyards District, and with nearly 500 teams competing in four culinary contests, The Royal is the largest barbecue contest in the world. Combine this with a barbecue-related trade expo, this four-day food festival is truly the “World Series of Barbecue.”

Oysters served by local restaurants.  There is also a Full Bar & Grill serving Oyster Shooters, beer, and other food and drinks. Live entertainment. There are more than 60 vendors of shopping.  Children's activities, including a bounce house, facepainting, cartoon characters, sand castle building, hula hooping and much more.  A Breast Cancer Benefit.
