Coastal Uncorked will be the signature event brand for the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association and utilized to promote the culinary side of the hospitality industry and the destination. It will continue the mission of the association representing, educating & promoting the best in the hospitality & tourism industry here along the Grand Strand and grow needed scholarship dollars to keep future tourism and culinary leaders in the community.

BBQ, BLUES & FUN! The 13th annual KCBS sanctioned event will feature competitions in professional and backyard divisions. South Carolina's oldest continuing festival. Highlights: Lake Warren State Park Family Fun Day, Youth Parade, Pet Show, Mud Run, Watermelon Eating Contest, Watermelon Judging Contest, a Melon Miss pageant for all ages, arts and crafts displays, a taste of good Hampton County Food, plus variety of musical entertainment, and of course....one of the largest parades in the state!!

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
This family-friendly festival, organized by the OMAR Shriners and Palmetto Event Productions, Inc., will feature free live entertainment, wake board demonstrations, free boat rides, kids zone, art & craft vendors, beer gardens, fireworks and of course, the main attraction is the finger-lickin', lip-smackin' good barbeque (available for purchase) and lots of it from competing teams, along with festival food favorites from vendors. Admission is free for the event and most event activities are complimentary. Several cooking events promise to attract the nation's finest competitors: Anything Goes contest and tasting on Friday, the Official S.C. Barbeque Championship and Kansas City Barbeque Society Cook-Off on Saturday, and the Sunday Wing-Off competition. Each cooking event will award prize money.
