Harvest Wine Fest
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Balloon Fiesta Park.  Celebrate harvest season with 20 of New Mexico’s top wineries as they uncork over 100 of their finest wines for you to taste and take home.  Meet the wine makers, and enjoy fine food and great live music, in cool shade and comfort.

August 31-Sept 2, 2024  Harvest Wine Fest - Las Cruces, New Mexico
Southern New Mexico State Fairground. Join us in celebrating New Mexico's grape harvest with daily grape stompings, free wine tastings, live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, children's activities, hourly wine seminars and a great relaxed atmosphere!

August 17-19, 2023 - Red River’s 8750' Music & BBQ Festival
Red River, New Mexico
Red River’s 8750' Music & BBQ Festival-along with the Chili Appreciation Society International Cook-Off, the New Mexico Green Chile State Championship and the Lone Star BBQ Society Cook-Off and the guaranteed purse-now up to $10,000.
 


 

August 19-20, 2023  Bosque Chile Festival - Albuquerque, New Mexico
A celebration of food, art, and culture on the Rio Grande.  Join in the celebration of the chile harvest at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.  This event will offer entertainment, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, beer, wine, , agricultural workshops, chef demonstrations and more. No pets allowed; service animals only.  For more information email bosquechilefestival@bernco.gov or call (505) 468-1418.  This event is presented by Bernalillo County and the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

September 1-3, 2023  Hatch Chile Festival - Hatch, New Mexico
The annual festival will include music, a parade, chile eating contests, fine art show, and rope and bullwhip show.  Festival goers can sample famed chile recipes, watch the crowning of the chile festival queen, or toss a horseshoe in celebration of our most famous crop. The event also features chile ristra contests, artisan and food booths, and a carnival.  Attendance: 30,000.

September 7-17, 2023  New Mexico State Fair - Albuquerque, New Mexico
Highlights of the annual fair will include agricultural exhibits, livestock shows & demonstrations, concerts, competitions, carnival midway, and art.

September 9, 2023  Annual Pie Town Pie Festival - Pie Town, New Mexico
The Pie Town Annual Pie Festival includes a pie-baking contest, games and races, music, food, arts and crafts, and pie, pie, pie. Admission is free and parking is easy. The festival is held in Jackson Park each year and is a great opportunity to visit with friends, both old and new.  The Festival is organized and operated by the Pie Town Community Council, and is our main fund-raising event.

September 23, 2023  5th New Mexico Prickly Pear Festival
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Celebrate everything prickly pear; food, art, music. Cooking demonstrations showing people how to use prickly pear fruit and pads in their own kitchens; workshops and talks about prickly pear processing and interesting and unique ways to use prickly pear; and programming for farmers, ranchers, and gardeners for how and why to incorporate this native plant into their systems.

September 27-Oct 1, 2023  32nd Annual Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Featuring master sommeliers and James Beard Award-winning chefs from 100 national wineries and 75 of Santa Fe’s most acclaimed restaurants for five days of guest chef winery luncheons, cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, wine dinners, tastings and luncheons.  The fiesta will culminate with the Grand Tasting at the legendary Santa Fe Opera where all participating restaurants and wineries will serve delectable samples underneath the starry New Mexican sky. Now on sale, ticket prices vary by event and start at $75.

September 29-30, 2023  All American Cowboyfest
Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico
Formerly known as the Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium.  Join us at Ruidoso Downs Race Track for an exciting family-oriented, four-day festival in celebration of country music, western culture, and rodeo.

October 4-8, 2023  Sierra County Fair
Truth or Consequences, New Mexico
Arts, crafts, livestock, food vendors, community groups, and fun!

October 6-8, 2023  Annual Oktoberfest - Red River, New Mexico
The annual Oktoberfest at Brandenburg Park includes microbreweries (with voting for the best brews), food and craft vendors, German “OOMPAH” Polka music, activities for kids, a “Pub Crawl” and contests like Miss & Mr. Oktoberfest, stein holding, chicken dance, yodeling, brat eating and the Keg Karry! Admission is FREE and you can buy your commemorative taster mug or stein when you get to the park.

October 7-8, 2023  51st Annual Harvest Festival - Santa Fe, New Mexico
Celebrate the harvest during this annual festival at El Rancho de las Golondrinas, a living history museum dedicated to the heritage and culture of Spanish Colonial New Mexico. Learn to string chile ristras, crush wine grapes by foot and grind sorghum with the help of burros. Arts & crafts, music.

October 11-15, 2023  Annual Chile Challenge 4-Wheel Drive Trail Event

December 8-9, 2023  12th Annual Winter & Wine Festival
Carlsbad, New Mexico
• Winter & Wine VIP Night: Friday, December 8, 2023, From 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.  Attendance will be limited to 350 VIP Passholders. VIP Tickets: $55 per person.  • Winter & Wine Festival: Saturday, December 9, 2023, From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  General Admission: Tickets: $25 per person.

July 3-5, 2020 - 17th Annual Pork & Brew - Rio Rancho, New Mexico
EVENT CANCELED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.
Come out and enjoy this terrific family friendly event with live entertainment, arts and crafts, fun jumps, magic show, and of course plenty of award winning BBQ. With more than 15,000 in attendance last year, it has become one of the largest events in New Mexico.  Attendance: 15,000.

December 31, 2020  Old Fashioned New Year's Eve
Red River, New Mexico
Guests and locals can find New Year’s Eve Celebrations for all ages beginning with the annual New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Display at Red River Ski Area on December 31st. On New Year's Eve, take the kids to the Red River Community House for an Old Fashioned New Year's Eve Party to enjoy pizza, music and games!
