Come out and enjoy this terrific family friendly event with live entertainment, arts and crafts, fun jumps, magic show, and of course plenty of award winning BBQ. Pork & Brew is a fully sanctioned Kansas City BBQ Society event and is one of the top 10 events on the Society calendar. With more than 15,000 in attendance last year, it has become one of the largest events in New Mexico. Attendance: 15,000.

The Pie Town Annual Pie Festival includes a pie-baking contest, games and races, music, food, arts and crafts, and pie, pie, pie. Admission is free and parking is easy. The festival is held in Jackson Park each year and is a great opportunity to visit with friends, both old and new. The Festival is organized and operated by the Pie Town Community Council, and is our main fund-raising event.

October 13, 2013 Local Food Festival and Field Day - Albuquerque, NM
A celebration of food from the ground up, highlighting local food and agriculture in our region. The festival is organized by the MRCOG Agriculture Collaborative in partnership with a variety of local groups and organizations. The Food Festival will serve as the launch for Local Food Week, an event sponsored by Edible Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos. This means that the festival will be followed by a week of local food-related activities. - Workshops and lectures about canning and other food preservation techniques, gardening/farming, seed saving, curanderismo (folk healing), New Mexico's farming history and culture, and more! - Music, tastings, readings, and activities for kids.
