August -, 2023 - Annual Brat Days - Sheboygan, Wisconsin
EVENT CANCELED FOR 2023.  The Sheboygan Jaycees announced that Brat Days will be taking the year off for 2023. We look forward to seeing you again at a future Brat Days!  Attendance: 40,000.

August 3-13, 2023 - Wisconsin State Fair - West Allis, Wisconsin
The State Fair, which annually welcomes nearly 900,000 visitors, features Ag Village with an average of 6,000-8,000 animals on display and in competition. Wisconsin's largest agricultural showcase is rounded out with educational programs on agriculture and renewable energy, milking demonstrations and much more.  Our world famous and delectably delicious Cream Puffs are a treat hundreds of thousands look forward to all year. There's no shortage of entertainment offerings with 30 FREE stages highlighting a broad range of genres.  Attendance: 900,000.

August 5, 2023  Annual National Mustard Day & Festival
Middleton, Wisconsin
National Mustard Day is celebrated annually at the National Mustard Museum. It is a fun-filled day for the whole family and has traditionally included free hot dogs as well as music, games, other entertainment, mustard samples, and more. The Mustard Museum, now located in Middleton, has been the official sponsor of this event since 1991.
 


 

August 5, 2023  28th Annual Cherry Festival - Jacksonport, Wisconsin
Door County is so well known for it”s cherries and we love to celebrate them. Music, historical booth with pioneer life demonstrations, carriage rides, and cherry themed foods such as cherry pie, sundaes, and jam, cherry brats and cherry hamburgers.  Sponsored by the Jacksonport Historical Society.

August 8-13, 2023  Cobb Corn Roast - Cobb, Wisconsin
Parade, Sweet Corn Eating Competition, Classic Car Show, Story Telling, Water Fights, Run/Walk, Softball, Volleyball & Poker Tournaments, Open Pit BBQ Chicken & Free Sweet Corn!

August 11-12, 2023  Seymour Burger Fest - Seymour, Wisconsin
Witness “The World’s Largest Hamburger Parade,”  • get your fill at the Festival Foods Hamburger Eating Contest,  • join in the who's got the "Best Burger Recipe" grill off, • check out the complete burger memorabilia collection at the Seymour Community Museum, • and take a “dip” on the famous ketchup slide.   • Festival-goers will also hear music all weekend from area bands, including members of the world famous Badger Band!  • Events also include a car show, motorcycle charity ride, 5K bun run, kid’s activities and live music.

August 12, 2023  Great Taste of the Midwest - Madison, Wisconsin
One of the premier beer festivals in the United States. On the second Saturday in August, over one hundred brewpubs and microbreweries from the Midwest come to beautiful Olin-Turville Park overlooking lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin, to share beer and good times with six thousand patrons.

August 16-20, 2023  Sweet Corn Festival - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin
Over 100,000 people are served 70 tons of sweet corn at the three day event. Entertainment, parade, midway, mini golf, paintless paintball and more.  Attendance: 100,000.

August 17-20, 2023 - 37th Annual National Championship Musky Open
Eagle River, Wisconsin
A very exciting family oriented catch and release musky tournament held on 6 different lake families.

August 24-27, 2023  Loyal CornFest - Loyal, Wisconsin
Held during the last weekend in August, the festival offers free corn on the cob, classic car show, pageant, run/walk, horsepull, carnival, teen dance, and one of the best parades in the area.

August 19-21, 2022  Holmen Kornfest - Holmen, Wisconsin
Join us the 3rd weekend in August for our  annual event, featuring great food, live bands, rides, sports competitions, and much more!

August 27, 2022  Annual Wine & Vine, Etc. - St. Francis, Wisconsin
The Annual Wine & Vine Etc. from 3:30-7pm is a celebration of the 100+-year-old grape arbor built in 1912. Join two Bay View traditions, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi and Groppi’s Food Market at the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi Convent Arbor, 3221 S. Lake Drive, St. Francis, Wisconsin. Wine and Vine, Etc., features superb wines, craft beers, coffee, tea and other local libations complemented by delicious food from local area restaurants and vendors; entertainment by Frogwater and other performers all inclusive in ticket cost. The beauty of the arbor and grounds make this a perfect late summer destination. Tickets are available now and will be limited to 500.

August 21, 2021  Cows on the Concourse - Madison, Wisconsin
Cows on the Concourse is a Madison tradition celebrating Wisconsin's dairy industry, taking place on Capitol Square. Meet and greet cows and baby calves from local dairy farms as you peruse the Dane County Farmers' Market. Enjoy live music, tasty food, and fun games.

August 2-3, 2019  Pig in the Pines: Bacon, BBQ & Bands
St. Germain, Wisconsin
The two day event will celebrate everything bacon, BBQ and bands with live music all day and night from 11:30am - 10:00pm. Feast on everything pig including pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ, succulent ribs, pork kabobs, bacon wrapped appetizers and gourmet ham sandwiches. Enjoy activities for the you and young at heart both days including Big Kid Trike Races and a boot camp inflatable obstacle course.
