Food & Wine Experience presents rich and colorful moments for guests to taste, savor and explore the Milwaukee culinary scene, from trends to regional traditions. Enjoy the Grand Tasting, a gourmet showcase by local chefs, emerging talent and nationally renowned culinary leaders who mix with patrons in a convivial setting. Lively cooking demonstrations, chef meet & greets and seminars and panels deliver unforgettable experiences for fans, connoisseurs, partners, purveyors and industry personalities.
November 11-12, 2017 Holiday Harvest Wine & Food Festival
Start your celebration of the season by enjoying holiday foods and wines on the Great River Road Wine Trail! Each ticket holder will receive a wine trail glass and a six-bottle wine tote at the first winery visited. Their ticket and wine glass will entitle the holder to free wine and food tasting at each winery. You can pay for your ticket at the winery or online, using PayPal. Online purchasers should bring their PayPal receipt to the first winery visited. Plan to enjoy the event for the entire weekend, and visit all nine wineries! Start as far away as you can, and work your way home!! Please have a designated driver (sorry no wine tasting, but a lot of great local food). Designated driver tickets are $10 per person. Enjoy the featured wines and ciders paired with holiday foods, at each of the wineries on the Trail!

Christmas Light Parade
See glittering lighted floats, reindeer and equestrian units, marching bands, and novelty units. Witness Santa as he lights the Official Downtown Baraboo Holiday Tree. After the parade, children and families are invited to visit with Santa and have their pictures taken.

December 1, 2017 Bites & Lights - Janesville, Wisconsin
Rotary Botanical Gardens. Join us, 5-7 p.m. for a night of delectable eats, decadent treats and the magic of the Holiday Lights. Only a limited amount of tickets will be available for this exclusive cocktail party, so grab yours today! Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres begin at 5 p.m. Live music. A fabulous silent auction will highlight the night and the Garden Gallery will be open for shopping.

Downtown merchants will host their Annual Downtown Christmas Open House. Shoppers can catch up on their holiday gift-buying in the many specialty stores located throughout the historic downtown and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the fabulous cafes, taverns or restaurants.
December 3, 2017 Christmas at Richfield Historical Park
Visit two historic buildings in the Richfield Historical Park during the Christmas in Richfield event. The Mill House decorations include a German Christmas tree where children can search for a pickle ornament (German custom). If they find it, they can pick a prize. Sing-along carols will be played on the upright piano. Homemade cookies and hot cider heated on a wood burning stove will be served.

December 26-31, 2017 Carp Fest - Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
Week-long family orientated activities including lighted sledding hill, torchlight ski/hike, skating party, bowling, snow bowl football, ice fishing, Hoffman Hall Dollar Days, and more. December 31, 2017 New Year's Eve Big Cheese Drop
Plymouth celebrates New Year's Eve with the annual Big Cheese Drop, held at the Plymouth Arts Center. An 80-pound decorated model cheese wedge is lowered from a 100-foot ladder truck.
December 31, 2017 Annual Droppin' of the Carp

New Year's Eve festivities include a bonfire, entertainment and the countdown to midnight, when a 25-pound frozen carp named Lucky will be lowered onto a throne.
