SIP fine wines, master micros and more, with the latest launches from top vintners and breweries from around Milwaukee and the across the country.  TASTE everything Wisconsin’s finest restaurants, caterers and retailers have to offer in an interactive setting that encourages sharing and sampling.  LEARN the tricks of the trade from top chefs, tastemakers and other pros guaranteed to make your next dinner party a winner.  IN STYLE whether it's a night on the town or a dinner party around the hearth, Wine & Dine Wisconsin speaks your style, showcasing kitchen, dining and fashion trends for that special occasion.


November 14-15, 2015  Holiday Harvest Wine & Food Festival
Various, Wisconsin
Start your celebration of the season by enjoying holiday foods and wines on the Great River Road Wine Trail!   Each ticket holder will receive a wine trail glass and a six-bottle wine tote at the first winery visited. Their ticket and wine glass will entitle the holder to free wine and food tasting at each winery. You can pay for your ticket at the winery or online, using PayPal. Online purchasers should bring their PayPal receipt to the first winery visited. Plan to enjoy the event for the entire weekend, and visit all nine wineries! Start as far away as you can, and work your way home!!  Please have a designated driver (sorry no wine tasting, but a lot of great local food). Designated driver tickets are $10 per person.  Enjoy the featured wines and ciders paired with holiday foods, at each of the wineries on the Trail!

A taste of wine, some tasty treats and a leisurely stroll around town with friends. A fundraiser for the Baraboo Food Panty.

November 21, 2015  Taste of Chocolate - Janesville, Wisconsin
An evening of chocolate decadence, crowned by the lighting of the Holiday Light Show throughout Rotary Botanical Gardens.

There are so many events on Thanksgiving Day they are to numerous to list.

December 5, 2015  Christmas at the Mill House - Richfield, Wisconsin
The Mill House is festively decorated in the old-fashioned style of long ago. The pickle is hidden on the Christmas tree (a German tradition) for a child to find. Cider is heating on the wood burning stove with the aroma of freshly baked bread swirling around the house. Carols are played on the upright piano waiting for you to sing-along.  Christmas in Richfield is held with Christmas at the Mill House being one of its venues. The other venue is a Holdiay Bazaar at the Friess Lake School with homemade chili being served.

December 2, 2015  18th Annual Chili Cook-Off - Antigo, Wisconsin
Sample the season with chili, childrens' activities, raffles, a burger-eating contest, Christmas parade, and holiday music.

December 10, 2015 - Terra Madre Day - Worldwide
A worldwide celebration of local food held every year on December 10. Through hundreds of diverse and unique events across the globe, together we show that a global food revolution grows from local roots

Carp Fest
Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
Week-long family orientated activities including lighted sledding hill, torchlight ski/hike, skating party, bowling, snow bowl football, ice fishing, Hoffman Hall Dollar Days, and more. December 31, 2015  New Year's Eve Big Cheese Drop
Plymouth, Wisconsin
Plymouth celebrates New Year's Eve with the annual Big Cheese Drop, held at the Plymouth Arts Center. An 80-pound decorated model cheese wedge is lowered from a 100-foot ladder truck.

December 31, 2015  Annual Droppin' of the Carp
Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
New Year's Eve festivities include a bonfire, entertainment and the countdown to midnight, when a 25-pound frozen carp named Lucky will be lowered onto a throne.

November 1-2, 2013  Wisconsin Cheese Originals Annual Festival - Madison, Wisconsin
Wisconsin Cheese Originals Festival is Retired.  Thank you to everyone who has supported and attended the Wisconsin Cheese Originals Festival for the past five years! We are retiring this two-day event in order to brainstorm new events in 2014 and beyond.

November 29-30, 2013  Westfield Area Country Holiday Taste & Tour
Westfield , Wisconsin
Taste candy, cookies, cheese, baked goods and more. Tour area merchants and home crafters' booths.

December 7, 2013  Medieval Feast & Wassailing of the Apple Trees
Maiden Rock, Wisconsin
The annual event includes music, dancing, feasting, and Wassailling. Enjoy the old English tradition of Wassailling through the orchard and partake of the fruits of our harvest around a crackling bonfire.

The community of Beaches Corner celebrates opening day of the Wisconsin deer hunting season with a traditional pre-dawn hunters' breakfast. There will be holiday shopping opportunities for the "hunters' widows" at a community-wide arts & crafts fair with refeshments and music.

Wine and food tastings, over 50 types of fine wines from around the world.  Sample wines and have the ability to purchase them.  Food, cheese, and other samples will be available from area restaurants and organizations; Music.  Tommy G.
