October 4-7, 2012  26th Gruene Music & Wine Festival - New Braunfels, Texas
A four-day celebration of Texas and Americana music, as well as Texas, German, and New World wines, specialty beer, and handcrafted items.

October 13-14, 2012  25th Annual Int”l BBQ Cookers Association Cookoff - Grand Prairie, Texas
This is one of the largest BBQ events in Texas and this year’s event is expected to be even larger. Over 100 cookers will prepare over 600 judging samples, in the two days of competition. Thousands of dollars in prize money will attract BBQ cooks from across the state and beyond.

October 19-21, 2012  National Dutch Oven Gathering - Canton, Texas
Join hundreds of black pot camp enthusiasts from around the country to share food and fun. Workshops, demonstrations and other activities are planned throughout the weekend.

October 27, 2012  Taste Texas: Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest - Fredericksburg, Texas
It is a full-course celebration of Texas food, wine, music, specialty booths, food court, and fun for all. Guest Chefs, 25 wineries, 100 different wines, 50 specialty booths.
