36th Annual Parker County Peach Festival
Weatherford, Texas
Offers many peach related foods as well as over 200 art/craft, food and activity booths, live music, children's activities, the Peach Pedal bike ride and a domino tourney.  Attendance: 60,000.

July 11, 2020  McDade Watermelon Festival - McDade, Texas
EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO CORONAVIRUS.  Street dance with live music, food and beverages. Melon weigh-in followed by a parade and a full day of music, food, games, melon auction, and much, much more!

July 17-18, 2020  31sr Annual Hempstead Watermelon Festival
Hempstead, Texas
The Watermelon Capital of Texas. Music, parade, great food and BBQ cookoff. Homegrown and commercial watermelon contests.

July 25-27, 2019  Watermelon Festival & Rodeo - Naples, Texas
Held each year on the last full weekend of July, the event draws people from far and wide and includes one of the major parades in NE Texas, many craft booths, entertainment, a street dance, and a fully sanctioned PRCA rodeo.

July 28, 2018 - Pecos Cantaloupe Food Show - Pecos, Texas
The Cantaloupe Food Show is an annual celebration of the Sweet Pecos Cantaloupe that was created here in Pecos and Reeves County.  The show of creative "cantaloupe" displays and the delicious  Cantaloupe Recipes make for a tasty event! Cantaloupe recipe entries  are accepted  and judged in several categories, as is a Youth Cantaloupe  Decorating Contest.  All the yummy fun takes place at the West of the Pecos Museum,  120 E. Dot Stafford Street, Saturday afternoon. For more information please call the Museum at 432-445-5076.
