Includes Barbecue Cook-off and Margarita Mix-off with live music each night, plus many other activities.

Taste of the Town Big Game Edition
Serving as the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce’s signature event, Taste of the Town pleases the palate and the pocketbook. Approximately 30-area restaurants come together in one location and dish up samples of their most mouthwatering cuisine. Attendees can participate in a live auction vying for one-of-a-kind items. Auction items and packages are put together with donations from Chamber members and various entities in the community. Revenue earned through Taste of the Town is used for a grant to support PISD teachers’ needs, student scholarships and special projects within the city.
November 3, 2017 12th Annual Katy Wine Fest - Katy, Texas
Wine Lovers and Foodies Unite for a Great Cause at the Annual Katy Wine Fest. Showcase of New Wine Region and Area Restaurants to Benefit Disabled Adults. Presented by the Cinco Ranch Rotary Club. Guests can indulge in unlimited tastings of wines from South America as well as enjoy culinary bites from fantastic Katy-area restaurants. All proceeds from the event benefit The Brookwood Community and its Center for Learning. Guests can also enjoy musical entertainment, live and silent auctions and a raffle with amazing prizes.

Taste of the Holidays
The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors host the Taste of the Holidays, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience featuring Chamber member restaurants, caterers and florists. Each establishment will serve sample tastes of a featured item from their business.

James Beard Foundation’s Taste America national epicurean tour, featuring one-night-only collaborative dinners. Enjoy a unique, one-night only menu created by a Taste America All-Star joined by an elite team of notable local chefs. These exclusive dining events are perfect for the food enthusiast, as well as offering ideal entertaining opportunities for executives, clients, media, and VIPs.
November 3-5, 2017 - 12th Edition of the Romanian Food Festival
A unique opportunity for Dallas locals to explore the Romanian culture and cuisine right in their backyard. Festival highlights include ethnic foods, traditional costumes, orthodox icons and impressionist paintings exhibits, movies about Romania, gymnastic shows, folk artifacts, decorations and other shopping options, live entertainment and lots of fun for adults and children as well (petting zoo, games, dancing, and more).
November 3-12, 2017 Wurstfest - New Braunfels, Texas
Annual celebration along the banks of the beautiful Comal River. Enjoy good fun, food, special events and Alpine and Bavarian style entertainment. Wurstfest always starts on the Friday before the first Monday in November.
November 4, 2017 24th Annual World's Championship Shrimp Cook-Off
Port Isabel, Texas
The annual festival is a favorite among area residents and visitors and tests the skills of amateur and professional chefs from throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Contestants are judged on appearance, aroma, and taste of their specialty dishes. Samples are available to attendees at a modest fee.
November 4-5, 2017 Crab Fest - Grand Prairie, Texas
Come out and enjoy an afternoon of great food and music. Guests will be able to choose from a variety of tasty crab dishes. These dishes include boiled Snow Crab Legs served with spicy corn and potatoes plus Crab and Seafood Gumbo. There will be music from the popular band The Sidemen playing oldies from the 60’s and 70’s. Tell your family and friends and come join us for a wonderful weekend of delicious food and fun music. November 9-12, 2017 Crystal City Spinach Festival - Crystal City, Texas
The annual festival celebrates Crystal City's claim as "Spinach Capital of the World". The family-oriented event includes a parade, free musical entertainment, a spinach cook-off, 5K run, custom car show, dance contests, arts & crafts, sports tournaments, pageant, and carnival. Be sure to visit Crystal City's statue of the famous spinach-loving sailor, Popeye. Attendance: 60,000.
November 11, 2017 - The Taco Festival - El Paso, Texas
A General Admission ticket provides access to taco-topia. Inside the event, you’ll find restaurants dishing out $2 tacos and bars and beverage stations serving margaritas, beer, water, and soda. The entire festival works on a token system – so you will purchase tokens worth $2 each and use those as cash. Vendors will be on hand to sell other food (mostly desserts) as well.
November 11, 2017 29th Heritage Syrup Festival - Henderson, Texas
The highlight of the festival revolves around a day of old time syrup making demonstrations, using an antique sugarcane crushing mill. The grounds of the Historic Depot Museum come alive with folk music and over thirty folk artists demonstrating and selling their crafts.
November 12, 2017 12th International Risotto Festival
From 2 to 6 pm at The Houston Design Center. This gourmet strolling event includes an afternoon of delicious Italian foods and wonderful wines including samplings of antipasti, tastings of all risotto entries, Italian music and entertainment, exotic car display, activities for kids and designer showroom tours. Some of Houston’s top chefs will be competing in this year’s competition.

December 9, 2017 56th Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade
Clear Lake, Texas
Ring in the holidays with this Clear Lake tradition. More than 100,000 people traditionally enjoy this event from land and from hundreds of boats anchored throughout the Lake The parade features more than 100 brightly decorated power and sailboats that will traverse the Clear Lake channel from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon to Galveston Bay. Attendance: 100,000.
