The original and Grand Daddy of all chili cook-offs - in the world!  Includes Barbecue Cook-off and Margarita Mix-off with live music each night, plus many other activities.

November 2, 2023 - Taste of the Town - Pasadena, Texas
Join the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce at our annual Taste of the Town, as we bring our community together to experience samplings from some of your favorite local restaurants, along with a business & shopping vendor expo featuring some of our local businesses, live auction, live music and more! 
 


 

November 3-4, 2023  La Fête du Champagne - Houston, Texas
A celebration of the wines of Champagne.  Guests will enjoy exclusive dinners, informative and engaging seminars,  a Grand Tasting of wines from all attending Champagne producers, and the culminating Gala Dinner.

November 3-12, 2023  Wurstfest - New Braunfels, Texas
Annual celebration along the banks of the beautiful Comal River. Enjoy good fun, food, special events and Alpine and Bavarian style entertainment. Wurstfest always starts on the Friday before the first Monday in November.

November 4, 2023  30th Annual Shrimp Cook-Off & Seafood Festival
Port Isabel, Texas
Dozens of professional and amateur chefs will be preparing their favorite recipes for thousands of festival attendees at a modest fee. Each contestant’s recipe will be judged on appearance, aroma and taste by a select panel of judges.  Live entertainment, vendors and exciting new challenges will be featured. Gate fee is $5 per adult and children 10 and under are free. Hours of the festival are 10 am to 4:30 pm.

November 4-5, 2023  Austin Food & Wine Festival - Austin, Texas
Throughout the weekend, you'll experience up-close and personal access to culinary, wine and spirit talent at dozens of cooking demos, wine and cocktail seminars. Between sessions, drop by the Taste or Savor Lounges for complimentary beer, wine and cocktails. Then sip and nibble your way through The Grand Tasting Pavilion showcasing over 80 wine, spirit and artisanal food exhibitors, along with celebrated local and regional restaurants. Plus, pick-up copies of inspiring cookbooks and get them signed by your favorite chefs in the Autograph Tent.  Attendance: 9,000.

The Ultimate Food Fight: 2023 World Food Championships Categories include: Barbecue, Sandwich, Burger, Dessert, Seafood, Soup, Vegetarian, Cocktail and Chef, Live Fire.  Prize Purse: $300,000.

November 9-11, 2023  Texas Watermelon Association Convention
Fort Worth, Texas

November 9-12, 2023  Crystal City Spinach Festival - Crystal City, Texas
The annual festival celebrates Crystal City's claim as "Spinach Capital of the World". The family-oriented event includes a parade, free musical entertainment, a spinach cook-off, 5K run, custom car show, dance contests, arts & crafts, sports tournaments, pageant, and carnival. Be sure to visit Crystal City's statue of the famous spinach-loving sailor, Popeye.  Attendance: 60,000.

November 11, 2023  34th Heritage Syrup Festival  - Henderson, Texas
The highlight of the festival revolves around a day of old time syrup making demonstrations, using an antique sugarcane crushing mill. The grounds of the Historic Depot Museum come alive with folk music and over thirty folk artists demonstrating and selling their crafts.

November 11, 2023  Winefest - Kemah, Texas

November 25, 2023  Wassail Fest - Nacogdoches, Texas
Stroll the brick streets and visit the historic district as participating downtown merchants compete to see who can brew up the best wassail in town. 10am to 2pm.

November 27-December 22, 2023 - Christmas Wine Affair
Fredericksburg, Texas
Enjoy full complimentary tastings (limit of 4 wineries per day) and special discounts at 40 participating wineries. December 9, 2023  62nd Annual Christmas Boat Parade
Clear Lake, Texas
Ring in the holidays with this Clear Lake tradition. More than 100,000 people traditionally enjoy this event from land and from hundreds of boats anchored throughout the Lake  The parade features more than 100 brightly decorated power and sailboats that will traverse the Clear Lake channel from the South Shore Harbour Marina and the Nassau Bay Lagoon to Galveston Bay.  Attendance: 100,000.

December 31, 2023  31st CelebrateSA: NYE Countdown
San Antonio, Texas
The City of San Antonio’s Official New Year’s Eve Celebration. Market Street | Hemisfair Civic Park | Arneson River Theatre: 6 PM – Midnight.  Produced by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio, thousands of revelers will be “Dancing In The Streets,” the 2023 theme for the annual celebration. Due to construction taking place on South Alamo Street, the live music event and fireworks show will move around the corner to take place on Market Street between South Alamo Street and the Grand Hyatt, with pedestrian connections to Hemisfair Civic Park. Additionally, revelers will find a satellite event, CelebrateSA on the River, at the Arneson River Theatre.

November 12, 2022 - Annual Bridges Bands and BBQ Bash
Wasahachie, Texas
EVENT CANCELLED.  To promote disability awareness, highlight Fantastic Texas BBQ, spotlight confectionery students and to inspire everyone to be valued, respected and supported in our community.  • “State Championship BBQ Cook-off” will be officiated again by the International BBQ Cookers Association (ICBA). With $10,000 dollars in guaranteed prize money on the line, we are expecting nearly 100 teams to come out to throw their hat in the ring to compete.  • “Cupcake Wars” (Individuals and Culinary Arts High School Classes competing for $1,000.00 prize package while having their delectable treats tasted and judged by celebrity chefs from the food channel network (We are so excited to announce our celebrity judges will be returning this year to support our mission. Chef Michele Ragussis and Chef Christopher Plum will be putting their busy taping schedule on hold and flying in from New York City. Also returning is the very popular local favorite, Chef Kenzie Mills from Chopped Jr and Top Chef Jr. Don’t miss an opportunity to grab a picture with these Food Channel celebs and grab a delicious cupcake while you’re there, double bonus!  • Wine Pull 250 Bottles of various wines, you win by pulling a cork with a number that corresponds to a specific bottle. (Spoiler alert - rumor has it there may be Dom Perignon).  Attendance: 3,000.

November 14, 2021  15th International Risotto Festival
Houston, Texas
From 2 to 6 pm at The Houston Design Center. This gourmet strolling event includes an afternoon of delicious Italian foods and wonderful wines including samplings of antipasti, tastings of all risotto entries, Italian music and entertainment, exotic car display, activities for kids and designer showroom tours. Some of Houston’s top chefs will be competing in this year’s competition.

November 3, 2017 - Taste of the Holidays - Center, Texas
The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors host the Taste of the Holidays, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., an eclectic culinary sampling and dining experience featuring Chamber member restaurants, caterers and florists. Each establishment will serve sample tastes of a featured item from their business.

November 11, 2017 - The Taco Festival - El Paso, Texas
A General Admission ticket provides access to taco-topia. Inside the event, you’ll find restaurants dishing out $2 tacos and bars and beverage stations serving margaritas, beer, water, and soda. The entire festival works on a token system – so you will purchase tokens worth $2 each and use those as cash. Vendors will be on hand to sell other food (mostly desserts) as well.

December 3, 2016  Annual Tamales! Holiday Festival
San Antonio, Texas
An event centered around San Antonio Tradition with tamales, culture, music and fun for the whole family. With more than 40 different tamales vendors, a kid’s craft area, and live music and entertainment Tamales! is a celebration of family, food and fun that San Antonians have come to associate with the holidays.  We hope you will join us for the celebration 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Guests will enjoy live music and performances, activities for children, as well as delicacies from 40+ tamale makers.  The event is FREE and open to the public, no ticket necessary. Food and beverage prices range from $1.00 - $5.00 per vendor - ATMs available on site.x
