44th Chisholm Trail Roundup BBQ & Chili Cook-Offs
Lockhart, Texas
With Music Festival. BBQ & Chili cook-offs, arts & crafts, etc.  Always 2nd week in June. Chisholm Trail Roundup Rodeo & Parade etc. follows, on June 9-11, 2016.

June 3-5, 2016  30th Annual Taste of Dallas - Dallas, Texas
Eat. Drink. Shop. Repeat.  Mark your calendars and get your tastebuds ready! The  largest tasting event in DFW. Prepare your palate for a weekend of culinary delights from Dallas’ top chefs and most popular restaurants – not to mention fantastic music, plenty for the kids to do, and lots to shop, eat and see. Taste of Dallas is a slice of life, served up hot and fresh and waiting for you.  Attendance: 150,000.

June 5-7, 2016  International Dairy-Deli-Bake Seminar & Expo
Houston, Texas
This is the largest show for the dairy, deli, bakery, and foodservice professional. The retail buyers, merchandisers, brokers, distributors, and manufacturers come from all over the world for this important buying and educational event.

June 6-12, 2016  Wine & Food Week - Houston, Texas
One of the top 10 destination culinary and wine events in the US, Wine & Food Week's gastronomic grandeur features more than 500 wines, 50 restaurants, legendary wine producers and culinary personalities from around the globe, and a vast collection of specialty beers and gourmet food purveyors. Wine education classes, chef demonstrations, cookbook author events, live and silent auctions, and casual to fine wine-and-dine experiences round out the week's festivities.

June 7-10, 2016  AHF Annual Conference - Dallas, Texas
The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) is a professional society that serves as the crossroads of creativity, innovation, efficiency and well-being.  We’re dedicated to serving professionals in the self-operated healthcare foodservice industry. Our members represent those healthcare facilities that, by choosing to keep their foodservice departments in house instead of outsourcing them to third-party contractors, keep food and nutrition at the core of the healthcare experience.

Nacogdoches, Texas
Tons of fresh blueberries, blueberry pancakes, blueberry pie, blueberry cobbler and blueberry ice cream contests. Kids will love the Blueberry Bounce Park, petting zoo, make and take arts and crafts, pet parade, The Big Blue Murals and more. 32nd Annual Tomato Fest
Jacksonville, Texas
Home to the World's Largest Bowl of Salsa!  This family fun day includes arts and craft booths, street dance, a fishing tournament, home-grown tomato contest, tomato eating and peeling contests, gospel concert, auction and kids' activities.

June 16-18, 2016 - Holland Corn Festival - Holland, Texas
Come and celebrate with us! This is the 42nd year Holland has celebrated the local cash crop. Events include a parade, 5k run, contests, street dance, barbecue cook-off, arts & crafts, carnival and much more.

June 16-18, 2016  72nd Annual Watermelon Jubilee - Stockdale, Texas
First celebrated in 1937, the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee is one of the oldest watermelon festivals in Texas. Held Thursday through Saturday in beautiful Stockdale City Park, the 3rd weekend in June.

June 17-18, 2016  Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo
Stonewall, Texas
The 55th annual event will celebrate the peach harvest with rodeo and bull riding events, dancing, live music, a parade, contests, auctions and more.

June 20, 2016  Flavors of Dallas - Dallas, Texas
Flavors is a culinary experience that goes beyond the traditional gala and provides each table of attendees with a local chef who will prepare a multi-course dinner tableside. The meal that is delivered will showcase the signature dishes of our culinary experts and take you beyond the usual restaurant fare. Unleash your inner "foodie" and experience a distinct evening of dining while helping to fund the research, education and advocacy efforts of the American Liver Foundation.

June 21, 2016  10th Annual Taste of Seguin - Seguin, Texas
Taste of Seguin, the annual rivalry between restaurants, caterers and commercial kitchens, is set at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Coliseum, 950 S. Austin St. Samples of appetizers, soups/salads, entrees and desserts are provided by more than 20 vendors.  Attendees vote to select the best in each category. Plus, there is music, dancing, door prizes, a raffle, silent auction and other activities for a lively evening beginning at 6 pm with winners announced at 9 pm. The event is sponsored by Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and hosted by The Silver Center. All proceeds benefit The Silver Center which provides a full range of social, wellness, nutrition, and educational activities for seniors 50-plus.

 

June 23-26, 2016  Luling Watermelon Thump - Luling, Texas
Melon Growing & Eating Contests, Music, Midway, Food, Arts & Crafts, Car Show, and More.  Champion Watermelon award is given to the largest Black Diamond watermelon grown according to the grower's association rules. The top entries in the Melon Contest are sold at auction. The Champion melon has brought between $400 and $22,500. Part of the proceeds from the auction support student scholarships.

June 24, 2016  Vino and Pasta - Fredericksburg, Texas
The title of this trail says it all!!  Is there a better pairing in the world than wine and pasta?  The Fredericksburg Wine Road 290 wineries are partnering with the finest restaurants in the area to create a flavorful masterpiece of sensory euphoria!  Try something different at all the wineries!

June 25, 2016  The Dallas Rotary Wine & Dine Festival - Dallas, Texas
Wine and Dine Festival Will Benefit Rotary Charities The Dallas Rotary Club, in association with the Dallas Area Fall Fair, Inc., will be sponsoring another very special event from noon until 6:00 p.m. at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds, Rt. 118, Dallas, PA. The Dallas Rotary Wine & Dine Festival will feature tastings of the finest wines and specialty foods from the Back Mountain and Endless Mountains areas. A variety of goods will also be for sale by area craftsmen, and there will be musical entertainment all day long.
